Ezekiel 12

¹ God talk say:

² Son of man, you dey live among people wey no obey me. Dem get eyes but no dey see, dem get ear, but no dey hear, because dem no dey obey.

³ So this na wetin I wan make you do before night come. Pack little things like person wey escape war. And then go outside where everybody fit see you and waka round from place to place. Maybe those wey no obey go notice you.

⁴ Go back your house after you don do this. Later that evening commot for your house and pretend like say you dey go other country.

⁵ As dem dey watch, break a hole for wall of your house and commot through the hole with your bag for your hand and make sure say, everyone dey watch you.

⁶ Let dem see you dey carry your bag for your shoulder and go out for darkness, as you cover your face, so that you no go see where you dey go. wetin you do go be warning to people of Israel."

⁷ I do wetin God tell me say make I do. That day I pack small things and that evening I break hole for the wall of my house with my hand and commot go out. As everyone dey watch I carry my load for my shoulder and commot.

⁸ The next morning, God follow me talk.

⁹ He talk say, "Son of man, now wey those Israelites wey no dey obey dey ask you wetin you dey do,

¹⁰ tell them wetin I, the Almighty God dey tell them. This message na for the prince wey dey rule Jerusalem and for all the people wey dey live for there.

¹¹ Tell them say wetin you don do na sign of wetin go happen to them " dem go turn prisoner of war.

¹² The prince of Jerusalem go carry him own bag for shoulder for night and escape through the hole wey others don dig for wall. He go cover him eyes and he no go fit see where he dey go.

¹³ But I go spread out my net and catch him inside am. Then I go take him go Babylon city, but he no go see the place even though he go die for there.

¹⁴ I go scatter all the member of him court, his advisors and bodyguard for all direction and people go search for them, so that dem fit kill them.

¹⁵ "When I scatter them among other nations and for foreign country, dem go know say I be the LORD.

¹⁶ I go allow few of them survive the war, the hunger, the diseases, so that among other nation dem go know how terrible their action don be and dem go gree say I be God."

¹⁷ God speak to me.

¹⁸ He talk say "Son of man", "Shake when you dey eat and shake with fear when you dey drink,

¹⁹ Tell the whole nation say na the message of Almighty God be this to people of Jerusalem wey still dey live for their land: dem go vibrate when dem eat and go shake with fear when dem drink. I go destroy their country and I go leave am empty, because people wey dey live for there wicked.

²⁰ Every town go destroy, and the land go turn desert. Then dem go know say I be the LORD.

²¹ God follow me talk:

²² He talk say, "Son of man, why people of Israel dey repeat this proverb say: "Time goes by, and prediction dey come to nothing"?

²³ Now tell them wetin I, the Almighty God, dey say about that. I go put end to that proverb. E no go happen for Israel again. Tell them instead: the time don come, wey the prediction go come true!

²⁴ "Among people of Israel, wrong vision or wrong prophesy no go dey again.

²⁵ I, the LORD go follow them talk and anything wey I say go happen. Delay no go dey again. For una own lifetime, una no dey obey, I go do wetin I don warn una say I go do, I do" na wetin Almighty God talk.

²⁶ God tell me say,

²⁷ "Son of man, Israelites dey also talk say your vision and message na only about things for future.

²⁸ So tell them say I, the Almighty God, dey talk say: delay no go dey again. My word go come true, just as I don talk. I, the Almighty God, don talk!"
