Nitori kini awa ṣe ngbãwẹ̀, ti iwọ kò si ri i? nitori kini awa jẹ ọkàn wa ni ìya, ti iwọ kò si mọ̀? Kiyesi i, li ọjọ ãwẹ̀ nyin ẹnyin nṣe afẹ́, ẹ si nfi agbara mu ni ṣe gbogbo iṣẹ nyin.

Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
