Nitoriti àiya awọn enia yi sebọ, etí wọn si wuwo lati fi gbọ́, oju wọn ni nwọn si ti dì: nitori ki nwọn ki o má ba fi oju wọn ri, ki nwọn ki o má ba fi etí wọn gbọ́, ati ki nwọn ki o má ba fi ọkàn wọn mọ̀, ki nwọn ki o má ba yipada, ati ki emi ki o má ba mu wọn larada.

For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
