Why I dey sad? Why I dey worry? I go put my hope in God, and I go praise him once again, my savior and my God.

My heart dey break for the strange land wey I dey, and I con turn my thinking to him. He don send wave of sorrow to my soul;

confusion dey shout for me like flood, like sound of waterfall wey dey sound like thunder down to Jordan from Mount Hermon and Mount Mizar.

Make God show him love wey dey constant during the day, so that I go fit get song for night, and prayer to God wey get my life.

To God, wey be my defender, I talk say, “Why you just forget me? Why I go just dey suffer from the bad thing wey my enemy dey do me?
