Leviticus 18
1 God tell Moses say,
2 Tell Israelites: I be the LORD una God.
3 Make una no follow the custom of Egypt where una don live, and make una no follow the custom of Canaanites wey I dey lead una. Make una no live the way dem dey live.
4 Una must obey my rules and follow my laws. Make una dey sure say una dey follow my rules, because I be the LORD una God.
5 Una must obey my rules and my laws, because anyone wey obey them go live. I be the LORD.
6 Make una no have sex with una close relation. I be the LORD.
7 Make una no have sex with una father or mother. Make una no disgrace una mother.
8 No disgrace your father by having sex with any of him other wife.
9 No have sex with your sister or stepsister, whether una grow up together or not.
10 No have sex with your granddaughter; that one go be disgrace to you.
11 No have sex with your half-sister; she be your sister too.
12-
13 No have sex with your aunt, whether she be your father sister or your mother sister.
14 No have sex with your uncle wife; she be your aunt too.
15 No have sex with your daughter-in-law
16 or with your brother wife.
17 No have sex with the daughter or granddaughter of a woman wey you don have sex with before; dem fit be your relation, and that one go be crime.
18 No take your wife sister as one of your wives, as long as your wife still dey alive.
19 No have sex with a woman when she dey do her monthly period, because she no dey clean.
20 No have sex with another man wife; that one go make you unclean.
21 No hand over any of your children say make dem use am worship the god Molech, because e go bring disgrace to name of God, the LORD.
22 Make no man have sex with another man; God hate am.
23 Make no man or woman have sex with animal; that abnormal act go make you unclean.
23 Make una no make unaself unclean by any of these acts, because na how the pagans make themselves unclean be that, the pagans wey dey live for the land before una and wey God don drive away so that una fit go in.
25 Their action don make the land unclean, so God dey punish the land and dey make am reject the people wey don live for there.
26-
27 Dem do all these irritating things and dem make the land unclean, but make una no do them. All of una, Israelites or foreigner wey dey live with una must keep God law and commands,
28 and the land no go reject una, as e don reject pagans wey don live for there before una.
29 Una know say, anyone wey do any of these irritating things no go be one of God people again.
30 God come say, Obey the command wey I give and no follow the practice of the people wey don live for the land before una, and no make unaself unclean by doing these things. I be the LORD una God.
