¹ OLUWA si sọ fun Mose pe,

¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

² Sọ fun awọn ọmọ Israeli, ki o si wi fun wọn pe, Emi li OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin.

² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.

³ Ẹnyin kò gbọdọ hùwa bi ìwa ilẹ Egipti nibiti ẹnyin ti ngbé: ẹnyin kò si gbọdọ hùwa ìwa ilẹ Kenaani, nibiti emi o mú nyin lọ: bẹ̃li ẹnyin kò gbọdọ rìn nipa ìlana wọn.

³ After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

⁴ Ki ẹnyin ki o ma ṣe ofin mi, ki ẹnyin si ma pa ìlana mi mọ́, lati ma rìn ninu wọn: Emi li OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin.

⁴ Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

⁵ Ẹnyin o si ma pa ìlana mi mọ́, ati ofin mi: eyiti bi enia ba ṣe, on o ma yè ninu wọn: Emi li OLUWA.

⁵ Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

⁶ Ẹnikẹni kò gbọdọ sunmọ ẹnikan ti iṣe ibatan rẹ̀ lati tú ìhoho rẹ̀: Emi li OLUWA.

⁶ None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

⁷ Ihoho baba rẹ, tabi ìhoho iya rẹ̀, ni iwọ kò gbọdọ tú: iya rẹ ni iṣe; iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho rẹ̀.

⁷ The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

⁸ Ihoho aya baba rẹ ni iwọ kò gbọdọ tú: ìhoho baba rẹ ni.

⁸ The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.

⁹ Ihoho arabinrin rẹ, ọmọ baba rẹ, tabi ọmọ iya rẹ, ti a bi ni ile, tabi ti a bi li ode, ani ìhoho wọn ni iwọ kò gbọdọ tú.

⁹ The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

¹⁰ Ìhoho ọmọbinrin ọmọ rẹ ọkunrin, tabi ti ọmọbinrin ọmọ rẹ obinrin, ani ìhoho wọn ni iwọ kò gbọdọ tú: nitoripe ìhoho ara rẹ ni nwọn.

¹⁰ The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.

¹¹ Ìhoho ọmọbinrin aya baba rẹ, ti a bi lati inu baba rẹ wá, arabinrin rẹ ni, iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho rẹ̀.

¹¹ The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

¹² Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho arabinrin baba rẹ: ibatan baba rẹ ni.

¹² Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.

¹³ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho arabinrin iya rẹ: nitoripe ibatan iya rẹ ni.

¹³ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister: for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.

¹⁴ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho arakunrin baba rẹ, iwọ kò gbọdọ sunmọ aya rẹ̀: arabinrin baba rẹ ni.

¹⁴ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.

¹⁵ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho aya ọmọ rẹ: nitoripe aya ọmọ rẹ ni iṣe; iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho rẹ̀.

¹⁵ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

¹⁶ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho aya arakunrin rẹ: ìhoho arakunrin rẹ ni.

¹⁶ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.

¹⁷ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tú ìhoho obinrin ati ti ọmọbinrin rẹ̀; bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ fẹ ọmọbinrin ọmọ rẹ̀ ọkunrin, tabi ọmọbinrin ọmọ rẹ̀ obinrin, lati tú ìhoho wọn; nitoripe ibatan ni nwọn: ohun buburu ni.

¹⁷ Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

¹⁸ Bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ fẹ́ arabinrin aya rẹ li aya, lati bà a ninu jẹ́, lati tú ìhoho rẹ̀, pẹlu rẹ̀ nigbati o wà lãye.

¹⁸ Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

¹⁹ Ati pẹlu iwọ kò gbọdọ sunmọ obinrin kan lati tú u ni ìhoho, ni ìwọn igbati a yà a sapakan nitori aimọ́ rẹ̀.

¹⁹ Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

²⁰ Pẹlupẹlu iwọ kò gbọdọ bá aya ẹnikeji rẹ dàpọ lati bà ara rẹ jẹ́ pẹlu rẹ̀.

²⁰ Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

²¹ Iwọ kò si gbọdọ fi irú-ọmọ rẹ kan fun Moleki, bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ bà orukọ Ọlọrun rẹ jẹ́: Emi li OLUWA.

²¹ And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

²² Iwọ kò gbọdọ bá ọkunrin dápọ bi obinrin: irira ni.

²² Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

²³ Bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ bá ẹranko kan dàpọ, lati fi i bà ara rẹ jẹ́: bẹ̃ni obinrin kan kò gbọdọ duro niwaju ẹranko kan lati dubulẹ tì i: idaru-dàpọ ni.

²³ Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

²⁴ Ẹ máṣe bà ara nyin jẹ́ ninu gbogbo nkan wọnyi: nitoripe ninu gbogbo nkan wọnyi li awọn orilẹ-ède, ti mo lé jade niwaju nyin dibajẹ́:

²⁴ Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

²⁵ Ilẹ na si dibajẹ́: nitorina ni mo ṣe bẹ̀ ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ̀ wò lori rẹ̀, ilẹ tikararẹ̀ si bì awọn olugbé rẹ̀ jade.

²⁵ And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

²⁶ Nitorina ni ki ẹnyin ki o ṣe ma pa ìlana ati ofin mi mọ́, ki ẹnyin ki o máṣe ṣe ọkan ninu irira wọnyi; tabi ẹnikan ninu ibilẹ nyin, tabi alejò ti nṣe atipo ninu nyin:

²⁶ Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:

²⁷ Nitoripe gbogbo irira wọnyi li awọn ọkunrin ilẹ na ṣe, ti o ti wà ṣaju nyin, ilẹ na si dibajẹ́;

²⁷ (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

²⁸ Ki ilẹ na ki o má ba bì nyin jade pẹlu, nigbati ẹnyin ba bà a jẹ́, bi o ti bì awọn orilẹ-ède jade, ti o ti wà ṣaju nyin.

²⁸ That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

²⁹ Nitoripe ẹnikẹni ti o ba ṣe ọkan ninu irira wọnyi, ani ọkàn wọnni ti o ba ṣe wọn li a o ke kuro lãrin awọn enia wọn.

²⁹ For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

³⁰ Nitorina ni ki ẹnyin ki o pa aṣẹ mi mọ́, ki ẹnyin ki o máṣe ọkan ninu irira wọnyi, ti nwọn ti ṣe ṣaju nyin, ki ẹnyin ki o má si bà ara nyin jẹ́ ninu rẹ̀: Emi li OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin.

³⁰ Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
