Hosea 14

¹ Return to Lord Una God, people of Israel. Una sin don make una stumble and fall.

² Make una return to God, and make una let this prayer be una offering to him: "Forgive all of us our sin and accept our prayer, and we go praise you as we don promise.

³ Assyria no fit save us, and war horse no fit protect us. We no go tell our idols say dem be our God again . O LORD, you dey show mercy to those wey no get anyone else to run to."

⁴ God talk say, "I go bring my people come back to me. I go love them with all my heart; I no dey vex with them again.

⁵ I go be like rain for dry land to people of Israel; dem go flourish like flower; dem go get firm root like trees of Lebanon.

⁶ Dem go dey alive with new growth, and go be beautiful like olive trees. Them go dey smell good like cedar of Lebanon.

⁷ Dem go live under my protection once again. Them go grow corn and go get fruit like vineyard. People go know them like wine of Lebanon.

⁸ The people of Israel no go get anything to do with idols again; I go answer their prayers and I go take care of them; I go shelter them like evergreen tree; I be source of all their blessings."

⁹ May those people wey dey wise understand wetin dem write here, and make dem put am to heart. The way of God dey right, and righteous people dey live by following them, but sinners dey stumble and fall because them ignore them.
