¹ ISRAELI, yipadà si Oluwa Ọlọrun rẹ, nitori iwọ ti ṣubu ninu aiṣedẽde rẹ.

¹ O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

² Mu ọ̀rọ pẹlu nyin, ẹ si yipadà si Oluwa: ẹ wi fun u pe, Mu aiṣedẽde gbogbo kuro, si fi ore-ọfẹ gbà wa: bẹ̃ni awa o fi ọmọ malu ète wa san a fun ọ.

² Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

³ Assuru kì yio gbà wa; awa kì yio gùn ẹṣin: bẹ̃ni awa kì yio tun wi mọ fun iṣẹ ọwọ́ wa pe, Ẹnyin li ọlọrun wa: nitori lọdọ rẹ ni alainibaba gbe ri ãnu.

³ Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

⁴ Emi o wo ifàsẹhìn wọn sàn, emi o fẹ wọn lọfẹ: nitori ibinu mi yí kuro lọdọ rẹ̀.

⁴ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

⁵ Emi o dabi ìri si Israeli: on o tanná bi eweko lili; yio si ta gbòngbo rẹ̀ bi Lebanoni.

⁵ I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

⁶ Ẹka rẹ̀ yio tàn, ẹwà rẹ̀ yio si dabi igi olifi, ati õrùn rẹ̀ bi Lebanoni.

⁶ His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

⁷ Awọn ti o ngbe abẹ ojiji rẹ̀ yio padà wá; nwọn o sọji bi ọkà: nwọn o si tanná bi àjara: õrun rẹ̀ yio dabi ọti-waini ti Lebanoni.

⁷ They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

⁸ Efraimu yio wipe, Kili emi ni fi òriṣa ṣe mọ? Emi ti gbọ́, mo si ti kiyesi i: emi dabi igi firi tutù. Lati ọdọ mi li a ti ri èso rẹ.

⁸ Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

⁹ Tali o gbọ́n, ti o lè moye nkan wọnyi? tali o li oye, ti o le mọ̀ wọn? nitori ọ̀na Oluwa tọ́, awọn olododo yio si ma rìn ninu wọn: ṣugbọn awọn alarekọja ni yio ṣubu sinu wọn.

⁹ Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
