Genesis 20
1 Abraham come move from Mamre go southern part of Canaan and him live between Kadesh and Shur. Later, when him dey live for Gerar.
2 him talk say him wife Sarah na him sister. Naso king Abimelech of Gerar say make dem bring Sarah to him for him palace.
3 One night, God come appear to him for dream and He say, "You go die because you don take woman wey don marry before."
4 But Abimelech never touch her and he say, "God I dey innocent. You go destroy me and my people?
5 Na Abraham talk say, "she be him sister" and she talk the same thing too. I do wetin I do with clear mind, and I no do anything wrong.
6 God come reply am for dream, "Yes I know say you do am with clear mind. Na why I no allow you touch her so that you no go sin against me.
7 But now give the woman back to her husband, he be prophet, he go pray for you so that you no go die. But if you no give her back, I dey warn you say you go die, you and your people.
8 For early morning, Abimelech call all him servants and he tell them wetin don happen, dem come begin dey fear.
9 Abimelech come call Abraham and he ask him say, "Wetin you don do to us? Wetin I don do wrong wey make you bring this kind disaster on me and my people? Nobody suppose do wetin you don do to me.
10 Why you do am?"
11 Abraham come answer, "I think say nobody go get fear of God for here and dem go kill me so that dem go get my wife.
12 Truly she be my sister, she be daughter of my father but no be same mother born us and I come marry her.
13 When God say make I leave my father house and dey travel from place to place, I tell her say do me one favor, anywhere we go, tell people say I be your brother."
14 Abimelech come give Sarah back to Abraham, and he add sheep, cattle and slaves join.
15 He tell Abraham say, "Na my land be this, you fit live for anywhere wey you like."
16 He come tell Sarah, "I dey give your brother a thousand pieces of silver, make e be prove to all people wey dey with you say you dey innocent. Everybody go know say you no do anything wrong.
17-
18 Because of wetin don happen to Sarah, God don curse every women wey dey Abimelech palace say dem no go get children. Abraham come pray to God and God heal Abimelech, him wife and him female servants so that dem go fit get children.
