Ezekiel 11
1 Spirit of God lift me up and carry me go the east gate of the Temple. For there I see
25 men near the gate, with Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, two leaders of the nation.
2 God tell me say, "Son of man, these men dey make evil plan and dey give people of Jerusalem bad advice.
3 Dem dey say, "Make we build more house. This city be like cooking pot, and we be like the meat, but at least the pot no dey allow fire burn us.
4 So, son of man, speak against them!
5 The spirit of God take control of me, and the LORD tell me make I give people this message: "People of Israel, I know wetin una dey say and wetin una dey plan.
6 Una don kill plenty people for the city so tey dead body full the street.
7 "So this na wetin I, the Almighty God, dey say to una. The city na cooking pot for real, but wetin be the meat? The body of those wey una don kill! Una no go dey here - I go throw una out of the city!
8 She una dey fear swords? I go bring men with sword make dem attack una.
9 I go take una commot for the city and give una to foreigners. I don declare death on una,
10 and una go die for battle for una own country. Then everyone go know say I be the LORD.
11 This city no go protect una as pot dey protect meat wey dey inside am. I go punish una for anywhere wey una dey for the land of Israel.
12 Una go know say I be the LORD and say as una dey follow law of nation wey dey near una, una dey disobey my law and teaching.
13 As I dey prophesy, Pelatiah die. I bow down and cry say, "No, Almighty God! Shey you go kill everyone wey remain for Israel?"
14 God follow me talk.
15 He tell me say, "Son of man, the people wey dey live for Jerusalem dey talk about you and your fellow Israelites wey dey foreign land. Dem say, "Foreign land dey too far to worship God. He don gives us the land as our own.
16 But this na wetin I want make you tell people of Israel wey dey Babylonia: Na true say I, the LORD God, don force una commot for una own country to dey live among foreign country. But now everywhere wey una go, I go be with una, so that una go fit worship me.
17 And someday, I go gather una from the nation wey I don scatter una, and give land of Israel to them.
18 When dem come back, I wan make dem destroy and clear the dirty idols wey dem find for the land.
19 I go give them a new heart and a new mind. I go take away their stubborn heart of stone and I go give them heart wey dey obey.
20 Then dem go keep my laws and obey all my command faithfully. Dem go be my people and I go be their God.
21 But I go punish those people wey love to dey worship idol. I go punish them for wetin dem don do." The Almighty God don talk.
22 After God don finish to dey talk, the living creature spread their wing and begin dey fly and their wheels go with them. The precious light of the presence of God of Israel dey on top them.
23 The light leave Jerusalem and stop for the mountain wey dey east of the city.
24 Then in my vision, the spirit of God lift me up and carry me go back to the other strange land for Babylonia. Then the one wey I see for vision rise and leave me.
25 Then I tell the people wey dey for strange land everything wey God don show me.
