1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 Ki ẹ má si da ara nyin pọ̀ mọ́ aiye yi: ṣugbọn ki ẹ parada lati di titun ni iro-inu nyin, ki ẹnyin ki o le ri idi ifẹ Ọlọrun, ti o dara, ti o si ṣe itẹwọgbà, ti o si pé.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 Nitori gẹgẹ bi awa ti li ẹ̀ya pipọ ninu ara kan, ti gbogbo ẹ̀ya kò si ni iṣẹ kanna:

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5 Bẹ̃li awa, ti a jẹ́ pipọ, a jẹ́ ara kan ninu Kristi, ati olukuluku ẹ̀ya ara ọmọnikeji rẹ̀.

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6 Njẹ bi awa si ti nri ọ̀tọ ọ̀tọ ẹ̀bun gbà gẹgẹ bi ore-ọfẹ ti a fifun wa, bi o ṣe isọtẹlẹ ni, ki a mã sọtẹlẹ gẹgẹ bi ìwọn igbagbọ́;

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7 Tabi iṣẹ-iranṣẹ, ki a kọjusi iṣẹ-iranṣẹ wa: tabi ẹniti nkọ́ni, ki o kọjusi kíkọ́;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Tabi ẹniti o ngbàni niyanju, si igbiyanju: ẹniti o nfi funni ki o mã fi inu kan ṣe e; ẹniti nṣe olori, ki o mã ṣe e li oju mejeji; ẹniti nṣãnu, ki o mã fi inu didùn ṣe e.

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

9 Ki ifẹ ki o wà li aiṣẹtan. Ẹ mã takéte si ohun ti iṣe buburu; ẹ faramọ́ ohun ti iṣe rere.

9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

10 Niti ifẹ ará, ẹ mã fi iyọ́nu fẹran ara nyin: niti ọlá, ẹ mã fi ẹnikeji nyin ṣaju.

10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

11 Niti iṣẹ ṣiṣe, ẹ má ṣe ọlẹ; ẹ mã ni igbona ọkàn; ẹ mã sìn Oluwa;

11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12 Ẹ mã yọ̀ ni ireti; ẹ mã mu sũru ninu ipọnju; ẹ mã duro gangan ninu adura;

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

13 Ẹ mã pese fun aini awọn enia mimọ́; ẹ fi ara nyin fun alejò iṣe.

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

14 Ẹ mã súre fun awọn ti nṣe inunibini si nyin: ẹ mã sure, ẹ má si ṣepè.

14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15 Awọn ti nyọ̀, ẹ mã ba wọn yọ̀, awọn ti nsọkun, ẹ mã ba wọn sọkun.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16 Ẹ mã wà ni inu kanna si ara nyin. Ẹ máṣe tọju ohun gíga, ṣugbọn ẹ mã tẹle awọn onirẹlẹ. Ẹ máṣe jẹ ọlọ́gbọn li oju ara nyin.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Ẹ máṣe fi buburu san buburu fun ẹnikẹni. Ẹ mã pèse ohun ti o tọ́ niwaju gbogbo enia.

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 Bi o le ṣe, bi o ti wà ni ipa ti nyin, ẹ mã wà li alafia pẹlu gbogbo enia.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Olufẹ, ẹ máṣe gbẹsan ara nyin, ṣugbọn ẹ fi àye silẹ fun ibinu; nitori a ti kọ ọ pe, Oluwa wipe, Temi li ẹsan, emi ó gbẹsan.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Ṣugbọn bi ebi ba npa ọtá rẹ, fun u li onjẹ; bi ongbẹ ba ngbẹ ẹ, fun u li omi mu: ni ṣiṣe bẹ̃ iwọ ó kó ẹyín ina le e li ori.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Maṣe jẹ ki buburu ṣẹgun rẹ, ṣugbọn fi rere ṣẹgun buburu.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
