1 OLUWA, Ọlọrun ẹsan; Ọlọrun ẹsan, fi ara rẹ hàn.
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Gbé ara rẹ soke, iwọ onidajọ aiye: san ẹsan fun awọn agberaga.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 Oluwa, yio ti pẹ to ti awọn enia buburu, yio ti pẹ to ti awọn enia buburu yio fi ma leri?
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Nwọn o ti ma dà ọ̀rọ nù ti nwọn o ma sọ ohun lile pẹ to? ti gbogbo oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ yio fi ma fi ara wọn leri.
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 Oluwa, nwọn fọ́ awọn enia rẹ tutu, nwọn si nyọ awọn enia-ini rẹ lẹnu.
5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6 Nwọn pa awọn opó ati alejo, nwọn si pa awọn ọmọ alaini-baba.
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Sibẹ nwọn wipe, Oluwa kì yio ri i, bẹ̃li Ọlọrun Jakobu kì yio kà a si,
7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Ki oye ki o ye nyin, ẹnyin ope ninu awọn enia: ati ẹnyin aṣiwere, nigbawo li ẹnyin o gbọ́n?
8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9 Ẹniti o gbin eti, o le ṣe alaigbọ́ bi? ẹniti o da oju, o ha le ṣe alairiran?
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Ẹniti nnà awọn orilẹ-ède, o ha le ṣe alaiṣe olutọ́? on li ẹniti nkọ́ enia ni ìmọ.
10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 Oluwa mọ̀ ìro-inu enia pe: asan ni nwọn.
11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Ibukún ni fun enia na ẹniti iwọ nà, Oluwa, ti iwọ si kọ́ lati inu ofin rẹ wá;
12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 Ki iwọ ki o le fun u ni isimi kuro li ọjọ ibi, titi a o fi wà iho silẹ fun enia buburu.
13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 Nitoripe Oluwa kì yio ṣa awọn enia rẹ̀ tì, bẹ̃ni kì yio kọ̀ awọn enia-ini rẹ̀ silẹ.
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 Ṣugbọn idajọ yio pada si ododo: gbogbo ọlọkàn diduro ni yio si ma tọ̀ ọ lẹhin.
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Tani yio dide si awọn oluṣe buburu fun mi? tabi tani yio dide si awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣe fun mi?
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Bikoṣe bi Oluwa ti ṣe oluranlọwọ mi; ọkàn mi fẹrẹ joko ni idakẹ.
17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Nigbati mo wipe, Ẹsẹ mi yọ́; Oluwa, ãnu rẹ dì mi mu.
18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 Ninu ọ̀pọlọpọ ibinujẹ mi ninu mi, itunu rẹ li o nmu inu mi dùn.
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20 Itẹ́ ẹ̀ṣẹ ha le ba ọ kẹgbẹ pọ̀, ti nfi ofin dimọ ìwa-ika?
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 Nwọn kó ara wọn jọ pọ̀ si ọkàn olododo, nwọn si da ẹ̀jẹ alaiṣẹ lẹbi.
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 Ṣugbọn Oluwa li àbo mi; Ọlọrun mi si li apata àbo mi,
22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 On o si mu ẹ̀ṣẹ wọn bọ̀ sori ara wọn, yio si ke wọn kuro ninu ìwa-buburu wọn: Oluwa Ọlọrun wa, yio ke wọn kuro.
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
