¹ OLUWA jọba, ọla-nla li o wọ li aṣọ; agbara ni Oluwa wọ̀ li aṣọ, o fi di ara rẹ̀ li amure: o si fi idi aiye mulẹ, ti kì yio fi le yi.

¹ The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

² Lati igba atijọ li a ti fi idi itẹ́ rẹ kalẹ, ati aiye-raiye ni Iwọ.

² Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

³ Iṣan-omi gbé ohùn wọn soke, Oluwa, iṣan-omi gbé ohùn wọn soke; iṣan-omi gbé riru omi wọn soke.

³ The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

⁴ Oluwa li ologo, o li ogo jù ariwo omi pupọ lọ, jù riru omi nla, ani jù agbara riru omi okun lọ.

⁴ The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

⁵ Otitọ li ẹri rẹ: ìwa-mimọ́ li o yẹ ile rẹ lailai, Oluwa.

⁵ Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
