¹ OHUN rere ni lati ma fi ọpẹ fun Oluwa, ati lati ma kọrin si orukọ rẹ, Ọga-ogo:

¹ It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

² Lati ma fi iṣeun ifẹ rẹ hàn li owurọ, ati otitọ rẹ li alalẹ.

² To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

³ Lara ohun-elo orin olokùn mẹwa, ati lara ohun-elo orin mimọ́: lara duru pẹlu iró ti o ni ironu.

³ Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

⁴ Nitori iwọ, Oluwa, li o ti mu mi yọ̀ nipa iṣẹ rẹ: emi o ma kọrin iyìn nitori iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ.

⁴ For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁵ Oluwa, iṣẹ rẹ ti tobi to! ìro-inu rẹ jinlẹ gidigidi.

⁵ O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

⁶ Ope enia kò mọ̀; bẹ̃li oye eyi kò ye aṣiwere enia.

⁶ A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

⁷ Nigbati awọn enia buburu ba rú bi koriko, ati igbati gbogbo awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ ba ngberú: ki nwọn ki o le run lailai ni:

⁷ When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

⁸ Ṣugbọn iwọ, Oluwa li ẹniti o ga titi lai.

⁸ But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

⁹ Sa wò o, awọn ọta rẹ, Oluwa, sa wò o, awọn ọta rẹ yio ṣegbe; gbogbo oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ li a o tuka.

⁹ For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹⁰ Ṣugbọn iwo mi ni iwọ o gbé ga bi iwo agbanrere; ororo titun li a o ta si mi lori.

¹⁰ But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹ Oju mi pẹlu yio ri ifẹ mi lara awọn ọta mi, eti mi yio si ma gbọ́ ifẹ mi si awọn enia buburu ti o dide si mi.

¹¹ Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

¹² Olododo yio gbà bi igi ọpẹ: yio dàgba bi igi kedari Lebanoni.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹³ Awọn ẹniti a gbin ni ile Oluwa, yio gbà ni agbala Ọlọrun wa.

¹³ Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹⁴ Nwọn o ma so eso sibẹ ninu ogbó wọn: nwọn o sanra, nwọn o ma tutù nini;

¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

¹⁵ Lati fi hàn pe, Ẹni diduro-ṣinṣin ni Oluwa: on li apata mi, kò si si aiṣododo kan ninu rẹ̀.

¹⁵ To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
