1 KỌRIN soke si Ọlọrun, ipa wa: ẹ ho iho ayọ̀ si Ọlọrun Jakobu.
1 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
2 Ẹ mu orin mimọ́, ki ẹ si mu ìlu wa, duru didùn pẹlu ohun-elo orin mimọ́.
2 Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
3 Ẹ fun ipè li oṣù titún, ni ìgbà ti a lana silẹ, li ọjọ ajọ wa ti o ni ironu.
3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
4 Nitori eyi li aṣẹ fun Israeli, ati ofin Ọlọrun Jakobu.
4 For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
5 Eyi li o dasilẹ ni ẹrí fun Josefu, nigbati o là ilẹ Egipti ja; nibiti mo gbe gbọ́ ede ti kò ye mi.
5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
6 Mo gbé ejika rẹ̀ kuro ninu ẹrù: mo si gbà agbọn li ọwọ rẹ̀.
6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.
7 Iwọ pè ninu ipọnju, emi si gbà ọ; emi da ọ lohùn nibi ìkọkọ ãra: emi ridi rẹ nibi omi ija.
7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
8 Ẹ gbọ́, ẹnyin enia mi, emi o si jẹri si ọ: Israeli, bi iwọ ba fetisi mi.
8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;
9 Kì yio si ọlọrun miran ninu nyin; bẹ̃ni iwọ kì yio sìn ọlọrun àjeji.
9 There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
10 Emi ni Oluwa Ọlọrun rẹ, ti o mu ọ lati ilẹ Egipti jade wá: yà ẹ̀nu rẹ̀ gbòro, emi o si kún u.
10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
11 Ṣugbọn awọn enia mi kò fẹ igbọ́ ohùn mi; Israeli kò si fẹ ti emi.
11 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
12 Bẹ̃ni mo fi wọn silẹ fun lile aiya wọn: nwọn si nrìn ninu ero ara wọn.
12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
13 Ibaṣepe awọn enia mi ti gbọ́ ti emi, ati ki Israeli ki o ma rìn nipa ọ̀na mi!
13 Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
14 Emi iba ti ṣẹ́ awọn ọta wọn lọgan, emi iba si ti yi ọwọ mi pada si awọn ọta wọn.
14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
15 Awọn akorira Oluwa iba ti fi ori wọn balẹ fun u; igba wọn iba si duro pẹ titi.
15 The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
16 Alikama daradara ni on iba ma fi bọ́ wọn pẹlu: ati oyin inu apata ni emi iba si ma fi tẹ́ ọ lọrun.
16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
