¹ OLUWA, Oluwa wa, orukọ rẹ ti ni iyìn to ni gbogbo aiye! iwọ ti o gbé ogo rẹ kà ori awọn ọrun.

¹ O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

² Lati ẹnu awọn ọmọ-ọwọ ati ọmọ-ọmu ni iwọ ti ṣe ilana agbara, nitori awọn ọta rẹ, nitori ki iwọ ki o le mu ọta olugbẹsan nì dakẹjẹ.

² Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

³ Nigbati mo rò ọrun rẹ, iṣẹ ika rẹ, oṣupa ati irawọ, ti iwọ ti ṣe ilana silẹ.

³ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

⁴ Kili enia, ti iwọ fi nṣe iranti rẹ̀? ati ọmọ enia, ti iwọ fi mbẹ̀ ẹ wò.

⁴ What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁵ Iwọ sa da a li onirẹlẹ diẹ jù awon angeli lọ, iwọ si ti fi ogo ati ọlá de e li ade.

⁵ For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

⁶ Iwọ mu u jọba iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ; iwọ si ti fi ohun gbogbo sabẹ ẹsẹ rẹ̀;

⁶ Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁷ Awọn agutan ati awọn malu pẹlu, ati awọn ẹranko igbẹ;

⁷ All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

⁸ Awọn ẹiyẹ oju ọrun, ati awọn ẹja okun, ti o nkọja lọ nipa ọ̀na okun.

⁸ The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

⁹ Oluwa, Oluwa wa, orukọ rẹ ti ni iyìn to ni gbogbo aiye!
