1 OLUWA, Ọlọrun mi, iwọ ni mo gbẹkẹ mi le: gbà mi lọwọ gbogbo awọn ti nṣe inunibini si mi, ki o si yọ mi kuro.
1 O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2 Ki o má ba fa ọkàn mi ya bi kiniun, a yà a pẹrẹpẹrẹ, nigbati kò si oluranlọwọ.
2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 Oluwa, Ọlọrun mi, bi mo ba ṣe eyi, bi ẹ̀ṣẹ ba mbẹ li ọwọ mi;
3 O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 Bi mo ba fi ibi san a fun ẹniti temi tirẹ̀ wà li alafia; (nitõtọ ẹniti nṣe ọta mi li ainidi, emi tilẹ gbà a là:)
4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
5 Jẹ ki ọta ki o ṣe inunibini si ọkàn mi, ki o si mu u; ki o tẹ̀ ẹmi mi mọlẹ, ki o si fi ọlá mi le inu ekuru.
5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6 Dide Oluwa, ni ibinu rẹ! gbé ara rẹ soke nitori ikannu awọn ọta mi: ki iwọ ki o si jí fun mi si idajọ ti iwọ ti pa li aṣẹ.
6 Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7 Bẹ̃ni ijọ awọn enia yio yi ọ ká kiri; njẹ nitori wọn iwọ pada si òke.
7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8 Oluwa yio ṣe idajọ awọn enia: Oluwa ṣe idajọ mi, gẹgẹ bi ododo mi, ati gẹgẹ bi ìwatitọ inu mi.
8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 Jẹ ki ìwa-buburu awọn enia buburu ki o de opin: ṣugbọn mu olotitọ duro: nitoriti Ọlọrun olododo li o ndan aiya ati inu wò.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10 Abo mi mbẹ lọdọ Ọlọrun ti o nṣe igbala olotitọ li aiya.
10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11 Ọlọrun li onidajọ ododo, Ọlọrun si nbinu si enia buburu lojojumọ:
11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12 Bi on kò ba yipada, yio si pọ́n idà rẹ̀ mu: o ti fà ọrun rẹ̀ le na, o ti mura rẹ̀ silẹ.
12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13 O si ti pèse elo ikú silẹ fun u; o ti ṣe awọn ọfa rẹ̀ ni oniná.
13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14 Kiyesi i, o nrọbi ẹ̀ṣẹ, o si loyun ìwa-ìka, o si bí eké jade.
14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15 O ti wà ọ̀fin, o gbẹ́ ẹ, o si bọ́ sinu iho ti on na wà.
15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 Ìwa-ika rẹ̀ yio si pada si ori ara rẹ̀, ati ìwa-agbara rẹ̀ yio si sọ̀kalẹ bọ̀ si atari ara rẹ̀.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17 Emi o yìn Oluwa gẹgẹ bi ododo rẹ̀: emi o si kọrin iyìn si orukọ Oluwa Ọga-ogo julọ.
17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
