1 ỌLỌRUN, awọn keferi wá si ilẹ-ini rẹ; tempili mimọ́ rẹ ni nwọn sọ di ẽri; nwọn sọ Jerusalemu di òkiti-alapa.

1 O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

2 Okú awọn iranṣẹ rẹ ni nwọn fi fun ẹiyẹ oju-ọrun li onjẹ, ẹran-ara awọn enia mimọ́ rẹ fun ẹranko ilẹ.

2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

3 Ẹ̀jẹ wọn ni nwọn ta silẹ bi omi yi Jerusalemu ka; kò si si ẹniti yio gbé wọn sìn.

3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

4 Awa di ẹ̀gan si awọn aladugbo wa, ẹlẹya ati iyọṣuti si awọn ti o yi wa ka.

4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.

5 Yio ti pẹ to, Oluwa? iwọ o binu titi lailai? owú rẹ yio ha ma jó bi iná?

5 How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

6 Dà ibinu rẹ si ori awọn keferi ti kò mọ̀ ọ, ati si ori awọn ijọba ti kò kepè orukọ rẹ.

6 Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

7 Nitori ti nwọn ti mu Jakobu jẹ, nwọn si sọ ibujoko rẹ̀ di ahoro.

7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.

8 Máṣe ranti ẹ̀ṣẹ awọn aṣaju wa si wa: jẹ ki iyọnu rẹ ki o ṣaju wa nisisiyi: nitori ti a rẹ̀ wa silẹ gidigidi.

8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

9 Ràn wa lọwọ, Ọlọrun igbala wa, nitori ogo orukọ rẹ: ki o si gbà wa, ki o si wẹ̀ ẹ̀ṣẹ wa nù, nitori orukọ rẹ.

9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

10 Nitori kili awọn keferi yio ṣe wipe, Nibo li Ọlọrun wọn wà? jẹ ki a mọ̀ igbẹsan ẹ̀jẹ awọn iranṣẹ rẹ ti a ta silẹ loju wa ninu awọn keferi.

10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

11 Jẹ ki imi-ẹdun onde nì ki o wá siwaju rẹ: gẹgẹ bi titobi agbara rẹ, iwọ dá awọn ti a yàn si pipa silẹ:

11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;

12 Ki o si san ẹ̀gan wọn nigba meje fun awọn aladugbo wa li aiya wọn, nipa eyiti nwọn ngàn ọ, Oluwa.

12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

13 Bẹ̃li awa enia rẹ ati agutan papa rẹ, yio ma fi ọpẹ fun ọ lailai, awa o ma fi iyìn rẹ hàn lati irandiran.

13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.
