1 ỌLỌRUN mi, gbà mi lọwọ awọn ọta mi: dãbobo mi lọwọ awọn ti o dide si mi.

1 Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

2 Gbà mi lọwọ awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ, ki o si gbà mi silẹ lọwọ awọn enia-ẹ̀jẹ.

2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

3 Sa kiyesi i, nwọn ba ni buba fun ọkàn mi, awọn alagbara pejọ si mi; kì iṣe nitori irekọja mi, tabi nitori ẹ̀ṣẹ mi, Oluwa.

3 For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

4 Nwọn sure, nwọn mura li aiṣẹ mi: dide lati pade mi, ki o si kiyesi i.

4 They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

5 Nitorina iwọ, Oluwa, Ọlọrun awọn ọmọ-ogun, Ọlọrun Israeli, jí lati bẹ̀ gbogbo awọn keferi wò; máṣe ṣãnu fun olurekọja buburu wọnni.

5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

6 Nwọn pada li aṣalẹ: nwọn npariwo bi ajá, nwọn nrìn yi ilu na ka.

6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

7 Kiyesi i, nwọn nfi ẹnu wọn gùfẹ jade: idà wà li ète wọn: nitoriti nwọn nwipe, tali o gbọ́?

7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

8 Ṣugbọn iwọ, Oluwa, yio rẹrin wọn: iwọ ni yio yọṣuti si gbogbo awọn keferi.

8 But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

9 Agbara rẹ̀ li emi o duro tì: nitori Ọlọrun li àbo mi.

9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

10 Ọlọrun ãnu mi ni yio ṣaju mi: Ọlọrun yio jẹ ki emi ri ifẹ mi lara awọn ọta mi.

10 The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

11 Máṣe pa wọn, ki awọn enia mi ki o má ba gbagbe: tú wọn ká nipa agbara rẹ; ki o si sọ̀ wọn kalẹ, Oluwa asà wa.

11 Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

12 Nitori ẹ̀ṣẹ ẹnu wọn ni ọ̀rọ ète wọn, ki a mu wọn ninu igberaga wọn: ati nitori ẽbu ati èke ti nwọn nṣe.

12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

13 Run wọn ni ibinu, run wọn, ki nwọn ki o má ṣe si mọ́: ki o si jẹ ki nwọn ki o mọ̀ pe, Ọlọrun li olori ni Jakobu titi o fi de opin aiye.

13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

14 Ati li aṣalẹ jẹ ki nwọn ki o pada; ki nwọn ki o pariwo bi ajá, ki nwọn ki o si ma yi ilu na ka kiri.

14 And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

15 Jẹ ki nwọn ki o ma rìn soke rìn sodò fun ohun jijẹ, bi nwọn kò ba yó, nwọn o duro ni gbogbo oru na.

15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

16 Ṣugbọn emi o kọrin agbara rẹ; nitõtọ, emi o kọrin ãnu rẹ kikan li owurọ: nitori pe iwọ li o ti nṣe àbo ati ibi-asala mi li ọjọ ipọnju mi.

16 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

17 Iwọ, agbara mi, li emi o kọrin si: nitori Ọlọrun li àbo mi, Ọlọrun ánu mi!

17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
