1 ỌLỌRUN Olodumare, ani Oluwa li o ti sọ̀rọ, o si pè aiye lati ìla-õrun wá titi o fi de ìwọ rẹ̀.

1 The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

2 Lati Sioni wá, pipé ẹwà, Ọlọrun ti tan imọlẹ.

2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

3 Ọlọrun wa mbọ̀, kì yio si dakẹ; iná yio ma jó niwaju rẹ̀, ẹfufu lile yio si ma ja yi i ka kiri.

3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

4 Yio si kọ si awọn ọrun lati òke wá, ati si aiye, ki o le ma ṣe idajọ awọn enia rẹ̀.

4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

5 Kó awọn enia mimọ́ mi jọ pọ̀ si ọdọ mi: awọn ti o fi ẹbọ ba mi da majẹmu.

5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

6 Awọn ọrun yio si sọ̀rọ ododo rẹ̀: nitori Ọlọrun tikararẹ̀ li onidajọ.

6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

7 Ẹ gbọ́, ẹnyin enia mi, emi o si sọ̀rọ; Israeli, emi o si jẹri si ọ: emi li Ọlọrun, ani Ọlọrun rẹ.

7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

8 Emi kì yio ba ọ wi nitori ẹbọ rẹ, ọrẹ-ẹbọ sisun rẹ wà niwaju mi nigbagbogbo.

8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

9 Emi kì yio mu akọ-malu lati ile rẹ jade, tabi obukọ ninu agbo-ẹran rẹ:

9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

10 Nitori gbogbo ẹran igbo ni ti emi, ati ẹrankẹran lori ẹgbẹrun òke.

10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11 Emi mọ̀ gbogbo ẹiyẹ awọn oke nla: ati ẹranko igbẹ ni ti emi.

11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

12 Bi ebi npa mi, emi kì yio sọ fun ọ: nitori pe aiye ni ti emi, ati ẹkún inu rẹ̀.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

13 Emi o ha jẹ ẹran malu, tabi emi a ma mu ẹ̀jẹ ewurẹ bi?

13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14 Ru ẹbọ-ọpẹ si Ọlọrun, ki o si san ẹjẹ́ rẹ fun Ọga-ogo.

14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15 Ki o si kepè mi ni ọjọ ipọnju: emi o gbà ọ, iwọ o si ma yìn mi logo.

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16 Ṣugbọn Ọlọrun wi fun enia buburu pe, Kini iwọ ni ifi ṣe lati ma sọ̀rọ ilana mi, tabi ti iwọ fi nmu majẹmu mi li ẹnu rẹ?

16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 Wò o, iwọ sa korira ẹkọ́, iwọ si ti ṣá ọ̀rọ mi tì lẹhin rẹ.

17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

18 Nigbati iwọ ri olè, nigbana ni iwọ ba a mọ̀ ọ pọ̀, iwọ si ba awọn àgbere ṣe ajọpin.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19 Iwọ fi ẹnu rẹ fun buburu, ati ahọn rẹ npete ẹ̀tan.

19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Iwọ joko, iwọ si sọ̀rọ si arakunrin rẹ: iwọ mba orukọ ọmọ iya rẹ jẹ.

20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21 Nkan wọnyi ni iwọ ṣe emi si dakẹ; iwọ ṣebi emi tilẹ dabi iru iwọ tikararẹ; emi o ba ọ wi, emi o si kà wọn li ẹsẹ-ẹsẹ ni oju rẹ.

21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

22 Njẹ rò eyi, ẹnyin ti o gbagbe Ọlọrun, ki emi ki o má ba fà nyin ya pẹ́rẹpẹ̀rẹ, ti kò si olugbala.

22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Ẹnikẹni ti o ba ru ẹbọ iyìn, o yìn mi logo: ati ẹniti o ba mu ọ̀na ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ tọ́ li emi o fi igbala Ọlọrun hàn fun.

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
