1 NI diduro emi duro de Oluwa; o si dẹti si mi, o si gbohun ẹkún mi.

1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2 O si mu mi gòke pẹlu lati inu iho iparun jade wá, lati inu erupẹ ẹrẹ̀, o si fi ẹsẹ mi ka ori apata, o si fi iṣisẹ mi lelẹ.

2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3 O si fi orin titun si mi li ẹnu, ani orin iyìn si Ọlọrun wa: ọ̀pọ enia ni yio ri i, ti yio si bẹ̀ru, ti yio si gbẹkẹle Oluwa.

3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

4 Ibukún ni fun ọkunrin na ti o fi Oluwa ṣe igbẹkẹle rẹ̀, ti kò si ka onirera si, tabi iru awọn ti nyà si iha eke.

4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5 Oluwa Ọlọrun mi ọ̀pọlọpọ ni iṣẹ iyanu ti iwọ ti nṣe, ati ìro inu rẹ sipa ti wa: a kò le kà wọn fun ọ li ẹsẹ-ẹsẹ: bi emi o wi ti emi o sọ̀rọ wọn, nwọn jù ohun kikà lọ.

5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6 Ẹbọ ati ọrẹ iwọ kò fẹ: eti mi ni iwọ ti ṣi: ọrẹ-ẹbọ sisun, ati ọrẹ-ẹbọ ẹ̀ṣẹ on ni iwọ kò bère.

6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7 Nigbana ni mo wipe, Kiyesi i, emi de: ninu àpo-iwe nì li a gbe kọwe mi pe,

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8 Inu mi dùn lati ṣe ifẹ rẹ, Ọlọrun mi, nitõtọ, ofin rẹ mbẹ li aiya mi.

8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9 Emi ti wãsu ododo ninu awujọ nla: kiyesi i, emi kò pa ete mi mọ́, Oluwa, iwọ mọ̀.

9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

10 Emi kò fi ododo rẹ sin li aiya mi, emi o sọ̀rọ otitọ ati igbala rẹ: emi kò si pa iṣeun-ifẹ rẹ ati otitọ rẹ mọ́ kuro lọdọ ijọ nla nì.

10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12 Nitoripe ainiye ibi li o yika kiri: ẹ̀ṣẹ mi dì mọ mi, bẹ̃li emi kò le gbé oju wò oke, nwọn jù irun ori mi lọ: nitorina aiya mi npá mi.

12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

13 Ki o wù ọ, Oluwa, lati gbà mi: Oluwa, yara lati ràn mi lọwọ,

13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

14 Ki oju ki o tì wọn, ki nwọn ki o si damu pọ̀, awọn ti nwá ọkàn mi lati pa a run; ki a lé wọn pada sẹhin, ki a si dojuti awọn ti nfẹ mi ni ibi.

14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

15 Ki nwọn ki o di ofo fun ère itiju wọn, awọn ti nwi fun mi pe, A! a!

15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

16 Ki gbogbo awọn ti nwá ọ, ki o ma yọ̀, ki inu wọn ki o si ma dùn sipa tirẹ: ki gbogbo awọn ti o si fẹ igbala rẹ ki o ma wi nigbagbogbo pe, Gbigbega li Oluwa.

16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

17 Ṣugbọn talaka ati alaini li emi; Oluwa si nṣe iranti mi; iwọ ni iranlọwọ mi ati olugbala mi: máṣe pẹ titi, Ọlọrun mi.

17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
