1 OLUWA, máṣe ba mi wi ninu ibinu rẹ: bẹ̃ni ki o máṣe nà mi ni gbigbona ibinujẹ rẹ.
1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Nitori ti ọfà rẹ kàn mọ́ mi ṣinṣin, ọwọ rẹ si kì mi wọ̀ mọlẹ.
2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
3 Kò si ibi yíyè li ara mi nitori ibinu rẹ; bẹ̃ni kò si alafia li egungun mi nitori ẹ̀ṣẹ mi.
3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
4 Nitori ti ẹbi ẹ̀ṣẹ mi bori mi mọlẹ, bi ẹrù wuwo, o wuwo jù fun mi.
4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
5 Ọgbẹ mi nrùn, o si dibajẹ nitori were mi.
5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
6 Emi njowere; ori mi tẹ̀ ba gidigidi; emi nṣọ̀fọ kiri li gbogbo ọjọ.
6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
7 Nitoriti iha mi kún fun àrun ẹgbin; kò si si ibi yiyè li ara mi.
7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
8 Ara mi hù, o si kan bajẹ; emi ti nkerora nitori aisimi aiya mi.
8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
9 Oluwa, gbogbo ifẹ mi mbẹ niwaju rẹ; ikerora mi kò si pamọ́ kuro lọdọ rẹ.
9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10 Aiya mi nmi-hẹlẹ, agbara mi yẹ̀ mi silẹ: bi o ṣe ti imọlẹ oju mi ni, kò si lara mi.
10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
11 Awọn olufẹ ati awọn ọrẹ mi duro li òkere kuro ni ìna mi, ati awọn ibatan mi duro li òkere rére.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
12 Awọn pẹlu ti nwá ọkàn mi dẹkùn silẹ fun mi; ati awọn ti nwá ifarapa mi nsọ̀rọ ohun buburu, nwọn si ngbiro ẹ̀tan li gbogbo ọjọ.
12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
13 Ṣugbọn emi, bi aditi, emi kò gbọ́; ati bi odi ti kò ya ẹnu rẹ̀.
13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14 Bẹ̃ni mo dabi ọkunrin ti kò gbọ́ran, ati li ẹnu ẹniti iyàn kò si.
14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 Nitori, Oluwa, iwọ li emi duro dè, iwọ o gbọ́, Oluwa Ọlọrun mi.
15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
16 Nitori ti mo wipe, Gbohùn mi, ki nwọn ki o má ba yọ̀ mi; nigbati ẹsẹ mi ba yọ́, nwọn o ma gbé ara wọn ga si mi.
16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
17 Emi ti mura ati ṣubu, ikãnu mi si mbẹ nigbagbogbo niwaju mi.
17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
18 Nitori ti emi o jẹwọ ẹ̀ṣẹ mi; emi o kãnu nitori ẹ̀ṣẹ mi.
18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
19 Ṣugbọn ara yá awọn ọta mi, ara wọn le; awọn ti o korira mi lodi npọ̀ si i.
19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
20 Awọn ti o si nfi buburu san rere li ọta mi; nitori emi ntọpa ohun ti iṣe rere.
20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
21 Oluwa, máṣe kọ̀ mi silẹ; Ọlọrun mi, máṣe jina si mi.
21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
22 Yara lati ran mi lọwọ, Oluwa igbala mi.
22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
