1 ẸMA yọ̀ niti Oluwa, ẹnyin olododo: nitoriti iyìn yẹ fun ẹni-diduro-ṣinṣin.
1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 Ẹ ma fi duru yìn Oluwa: ẹ ma fi ohun-elo olokùn mẹwa kọrin si i.
2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Ẹ kọ orin titun si i: ẹ ma fi ọgbọngbọn lù ohun ọnà orin pẹlu ariwo.
3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
4 Nitori ti ọ̀rọ Oluwa tọ́: ati gbogbo iṣẹ rẹ̀ li a nṣe ninu otitọ.
4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
5 O fẹ otitọ ati idajọ: ilẹ aiye kún fun ãnu Oluwa.
5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
6 Nipa ọ̀rọ Oluwa li a da awọn ọrun, ati gbogbo ogun wọn nipa ẽmí ẹnu rẹ̀.
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 O gbá awọn omi okun jọ bi ẹnipe òkiti kan: o tò ibu jọ ni ile iṣura.
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
8 Ki gbogbo aiye ki o bẹ̀ru Oluwa: ki gbogbo araiye ki o ma wà ninu ẹ̀ru rẹ̀.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9 Nitori ti o sọ̀rọ, o si ti ṣẹ; o paṣẹ, o si duro ṣinṣin.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
10 Oluwa mu ìmọ awọn orilẹ-ède di asan: o mu arekereke awọn enia ṣaki.
10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 Imọ Oluwa duro lailai, ìro inu rẹ̀ lati irandiran.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12 Ibukún ni fun orilẹ-ède na, Ọlọrun ẹniti Oluwa iṣe; ati awọn enia na ti o ti yàn ṣe ini rẹ̀.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
13 Oluwa wò lati ọrun wá, o ri gbogbo ọmọ enia.
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.
14 Lati ibujoko rẹ̀ o wò gbogbo araiye.
14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
15 O ṣe aiya wọn bakanna; o kiyesi gbogbo iṣẹ wọn.
15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
16 Kò si ọba kan ti a ti ọwọ ọ̀pọ ogun gba silẹ: kò si alagbara kan ti a fi agbara pupọ̀ gba silẹ.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 Ohun asan li ẹṣin fun igbala: bẹ̃ni kì yio fi agbara nla rẹ̀ gbàni silẹ.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Kiye si i, oju Oluwa mbẹ lara awọn ti o bẹ̀ru rẹ̀, lara awọn ti nreti ninu ãnu rẹ̀;
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 Lati gba ọkàn wọn la lọwọ ikú, ati lati pa wọn mọ́ lãye ni igba ìyan.
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Ọkàn wa duro de Oluwa: on ni iranlọwọ wa ati asà wa.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 Nitori ti ọkàn wa yio yọ̀ niti rẹ̀, nitori ti awa ti gbẹkẹle orukọ rẹ̀ mimọ́.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Ki ãnu rẹ, Oluwa, ki o wà lara wa, gẹgẹ bi awa ti nṣe ireti rẹ.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
