1 OLUWA, iwọ ni mo gbẹkẹ mi le: máṣe jẹ ki oju ki o tì mi: gbà mi ninu ododo rẹ.
1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Dẹ eti rẹ silẹ si mi: gbà mi nisisiyi: iwọ ma ṣe apata agbara mi, ile-ãbò lati gba mi si.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
3 Nitori iwọ li apata mi ati odi mi: nitorina nitori orukọ rẹ ma ṣe itọ́ mi, ki o si ma ṣe amọ̀na mi.
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Yọ mi jade ninu àwọn ti nwọn nà silẹ fun mi ni ìkọkọ: nitori iwọ li ãbo mi.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
5 Li ọwọ rẹ ni mo fi ẹmi mi le: iwọ li o ti rà mi pada, Oluwa Ọlọrun otitọ.
5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
6 Emi ti korira awọn ẹniti nfiyesi eke asan: ṣugbọn emi gbẹkẹle Oluwa.
6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
7 Emi o yọ̀, inu mi yio si dùn ninu ãnu rẹ: nitori ti iwọ ti rò ti iṣẹ́ mi; iwọ ti mọ̀ ọkàn mi ninu ipọnju;
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 Iwọ kò si sé mi mọ́ si ọwọ ọta nì: iwọ fi ẹsẹ mi tẹlẹ ni ibi àye nla.
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
9 Ṣãnu fun mi, Oluwa, nitori ti emi wà ninu iṣẹ́: oju mi fi ibinujẹ run, ọkàn mi ati inu mi.
9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10 Emi fi ibinujẹ lò ọjọ mi, ati ọdun mi ti on ti imi-ẹ̀dun: agbara mi kú nitori ẹ̀ṣẹ mi, awọn egungun mi si run.
10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
11 Emi di ẹni-ẹ̀gan lãrin awọn ọta mi gbogbo, pẹlupẹlu lãrin awọn aladugbo mi, mo si di ẹ̀ru fun awọn ojulumọ mi: awọn ti o ri mi lode nyẹra fun mi.
11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
12 Emi ti di ẹni-igbagbe kuro ni ìye bi okú: emi dabi ohun-elo fifọ́.
12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
13 Nitori ti emi ti ngbọ́ ẹ̀gan ọ̀pọ enia: ẹ̀ru wà niha gbogbo: nigbati nwọn ngbimọ pọ̀ si mi, nwọn gbiro ati gbà ẹmi mi kuro.
13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
14 Ṣugbọn emi gbẹkẹle ọ, Oluwa: emi ni, Iwọ li Ọlọrun mi.
14 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.
15 Igba mi mbẹ li ọwọ rẹ: gbà mi li ọwọ awọn ọta mi, ati li ọwọ awọn ti nṣe inunibini si mi,
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16 Ṣe oju rẹ ki o mọlẹ si iranṣẹ rẹ lara: gbà mi nitori ãnu rẹ.
16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
17 Máṣe jẹ ki oju ki o tì mi, Oluwa; nitori ti emi nkepè ọ; enia buburu ni ki oju ki o tì, awọn ni ki a mu dakẹ ni isa-okú.
17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
18 Awọn ète eke ni ki a mu dakẹ; ti nsọ̀rọ ohun buburu ni igberaga ati li ẹ̀gan si awọn olododo.
18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19 Ore rẹ ti tobi to, ti iwọ fi ṣura dè awọn ti o bẹru rẹ: ore ti iwọ ti ṣe fun awọn ti o gbẹkẹle ọ niwaju awọn ọmọ enia!
19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
20 Iwọ o pa wọn mọ́ ni ibi ìkọkọ iwaju rẹ kuro ninu idimọlu awọn enia; iwọ o pa wọn mọ́ ni ìkọkọ ninu agọ kan kuro ninu ija ahọn.
20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Olubukún ni Oluwa; nitori ti o ti fi iṣeun-ifẹ iyanu rẹ̀ hàn mi ni ilu olodi.
21 Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
22 Nitori ti mo ti wi ni ikanju mi pe, A ke mi kuro niwaju rẹ: ṣugbọn iwọ gbọ́ ohùn ẹ̀bẹ mi nigbati mo kepè ọ.
22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23 Ẹ fẹ Oluwa, gbogbo ẹnyin enia rẹ̀ mimọ́: Oluwa npa onigbagbọ́ mọ́, o si san a li ọ̀pọlọpọ fun ẹniti nṣe igberaga.
23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Ẹ tujuka, yio si mu nyin li aiya le, gbogbo ẹnyin ti o ni ireti niti Oluwa.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
