1 EMI o kokiki rẹ, Oluwa; nitori iwọ li o gbé mi leke, ti iwọ kò si jẹ ki awọn ọta mi ki ó yọ̀ mi.

1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2 Oluwa Ọlọrun mi, emi kigbe pè ọ, iwọ si ti mu mi lara da.

2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3 Oluwa, iwọ ti yọ ọkàn mi jade kuro ninu isa-okú: iwọ o si pa mi mọ́ lãye, ki emi ki o má ba lọ sinu iho.

3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

4 Kọrin si Oluwa, ẹnyin enia rẹ̀ mimọ́, ki ẹ si ma dupẹ ni iranti ìwa-mimọ́ rẹ̀.

4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5 Nitoripe, ni iṣẹju kan ni ibinu rẹ̀ ipẹ́, li ojurere rẹ̀ ni ìye gbe wà; bi ẹkun pẹ di alẹ kan, ṣugbọn ayọ̀ mbọ li owurọ.

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

6 Ati ninu alafia mi, emi ni, ipò mi kì yio pada lailai.

6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7 Oluwa, nipa oju-rere rẹ, iwọ ti mu òke mi duro ṣinṣin: nigbati iwọ pa oju rẹ mọ́, ẹnu yọ mi.

7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

8 Emi kigbe pè ọ, Oluwa; ati si Oluwa li emi mbẹ̀bẹ gidigidi.

8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9 Ere kili o wà li ẹ̀jẹ mi, nigbati mo ba lọ sinu ihò? erupẹ ni yio ma yìn ọ bi? on ni yio ma sọ̀rọ otitọ rẹ bi?

9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10 Gbọ́, Oluwa, ki o si ṣãnu fun mi: Oluwa, iwọ ma ṣe oluranlọwọ mi.

10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

11 Iwọ ti sọ ikãnu mi di ijó fun mi; iwọ ti bọ aṣọ-ọ̀fọ mi kuro, iwọ si fi ayọ̀ dì mi li àmure.

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 Nitori idi eyi ni ki ogo mi ki o le ma kọrin si ọ, ki o má si ṣe dakẹ. Oluwa Ọlọrun mi, emi o ma fi iyìn fun ọ lailai.

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
