¹ OLUWA, awọn ti nyọ mi li ẹnu ti npọ̀ to yi! ọ̀pọlọpọ li awọn ti o dide si mi.

¹ LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

² Ọ̀pọlọpọ li awọn ti o nwi niti ọkàn mi pe, Iranlọwọ kò si fun u nipa ti Ọlọrun.

² Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

³ Ṣugbọn iwọ, Oluwa, li asà fun mi; ogo mi; ati olugbe ori mi soke.

³ But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

⁴ Emi fi ohùn mi kigbe si Oluwa, o si gbohùn mi lati òke mimọ́ rẹ̀ wá.

⁴ I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

⁵ Emi dubulẹ, mo si sùn; mo si ji; nitori ti Oluwa tì mi lẹhin,

⁵ I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

⁶ Emi kì yio bẹ̀ru ọ̀pọlọpọ enia, ti nwọn rọ̀gba yi mi ka.

⁶ I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

⁷ Dide Oluwa; gbà mi, Ọlọrun mi: nitori iwọ li o lù gbogbo awọn ọta mi li egungun ẹrẹkẹ; iwọ si ká ehin awọn enia buburu.

⁷ Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

⁸ Ti Oluwa ni igbala: ibukún rẹ si mbẹ lara awọn enia rẹ.

⁸ Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
