1 GBỌ́ otiọ́, Oluwa, fiyesi igbe mi, fi eti si adura mi, ti kò ti ète ẹ̀tan jade.

1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

2 Jẹ ki idajọ mi ki o ma ti iwaju rẹ jade wá: jẹ ki oju rẹ ki o ma wò ohun ti o ṣe dẽde.

2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

3 Iwọ ti dan aiya mi wò; iwọ ti bẹ̀ ẹ wò li oru; iwọ ti wadi mi, iwọ kò ri nkan; emi ti pinnu rẹ̀ pe, ẹnu mi kì yio ṣẹ̀.

3 Thou has proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou has tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

4 Niti iṣẹ enia, nipa ọ̀rọ ẹnu rẹ̀ emi ti pa ara mi mọ́ kuro ni ipa alaparun.

4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

5 Fi ìrin mi le ilẹ ni ipa rẹ, ki atẹlẹ ẹsẹ mi ki o máṣe yẹ̀.

5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

6 Emi ti nkepè ọ, nitori pe iwọ o gbohùn mi, Ọlọrun: dẹ eti rẹ si mi, ki o si gbọ́ ọ̀rọ mi:

6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

7 Fi iṣeun ifẹ iyanu rẹ hàn, iwọ ti o fi ọwọ ọtún rẹ gbà awọn ti o gbẹkẹle ọ là, lọwọ awọn ti o dide si wọn.

7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

8 Pa mi mọ́ bi ọmọ-oju, pa mi mọ́ labẹ ojiji iyẹ-apá rẹ,

8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

9 Lọwọ awọn enia buburu ti nfõró mi, lọwọ awọn ọta-iyọta mi, ti o yi mi kakiri.

9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

10 Nwọn fi ọ̀ra sé aiya wọn, ẹnu wọn ni nwọn fi nsọ̀rọ igberaga.

10 They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

11 Nwọn ti yi wa ká nisisiyi ninu ìrin wa; nwọn ti gbé oju wọn le ati wọ́ wa silẹ:

11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

12 Bi kiniun ti nṣe iwọra si ohun ọdẹ rẹ̀, ati bi ọmọ kiniun ti o mba ni ibi ìkọkọ.

12 Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

13 Dide, Oluwa, ṣaju rẹ̀, rẹ̀ ẹ silẹ: gbà ọkàn mi lọwọ awọn enia buburu, ti iṣe idà rẹ:

13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

14 Lọwọ awọn enia nipa ọwọ rẹ, Oluwa, lọwọ awọn enia aiye, ti nwọn ni ipin wọn li aiye yi, ati ikùn ẹniti iwọ fi ohun iṣura rẹ ìkọkọ kún: awọn ọmọ wọn pọ̀n nwọn a si fi iyokù ini wọn silẹ fun awọn ọmọ-ọwọ́ wọn.

14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

15 Bi o ṣe ti emi ni emi o ma wò oju rẹ li ododo: àworan rẹ yio tẹ mi lọrun nigbati mo ba jí.

15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
