1 ỌLỌRUN, pa mi mọ́: nitori iwọ ni mo gbẹkẹ mi le.
1 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2 Ọkàn mi, iwọ ti wi fun Oluwa pe, Iwọ li Oluwa mi: emi kò ni ire kan lẹhin rẹ.
2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3 Si awọn enia mimọ́ ti o wà li aiye, ani si awọn ọlọla, lara ẹniti didùn inu mi gbogbo gbe wà.
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4 Ibinujẹ awọn ti nsare tọ̀ ọlọrun miran lẹhin yio pọ̀: ẹbọ ohun mimu ẹ̀jẹ wọn li emi kì yio ta silẹ, bẹ̃li emi kì yio da orukọ wọn li ẹnu mi.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 Oluwa ni ipin ini mi, ati ti ago mi: iwọ li o mu ìla mi duro.
5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 Okùn tita bọ́ sọdọ mi ni ibi daradara; lõtọ, emi ni ogún rere.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 Emi o fi ibukún fun Oluwa, ẹniti o ti nfun mi ni ìmọ; ọkàn mi pẹlu nkọ́ mi ni wakati oru.
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 Emi ti gbé Oluwa kà iwaju mi nigbagbogbo; nitori o wà li ọwọ ọtún mi, a kì yio ṣi mi ni ipò.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Nitorina ni inu mi ṣe dùn, ti ogo mi si nyọ̀; ara mi pẹlu yio simi ni ireti.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 Nitori iwọ kì yio fi ọkàn mi silẹ ni ipò-okú; bẹ̃ni iwọ kì yio jẹ ki Ẹni Mimọ́ rẹ ki o ri idibajẹ.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Iwọ o fi ipa ọ̀na ìye hàn mi; ni iwaju rẹ li ẹkún ayọ̀ wà: li ọwọ ọtún rẹ ni didùn-inu wà lailai.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
