1 OLUWA, gbọ́ adura mi, fi eti si ẹ̀bẹ mi; ninu otitọ rẹ dá mi lohùn ati ninu ododo rẹ.
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 Ki o má si ba ọmọ-ọdọ rẹ lọ sinu idajọ, nitori ti kò si ẹniti o wà lãye ti a o dalare niwaju rẹ.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 Nitori ti ọta ti ṣe inunibini si ọkàn mi; o ti lù ẹmi mi bolẹ; o ti mu mi joko li òkunkun, bi awọn ti o ti kú pẹ.
3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 Nitorina li ẹmi mi ṣe rẹ̀wẹsi ninu mi; òfo fò aiya mi ninu mi.
4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 Emi ranti ọjọ atijọ; emi ṣe àṣaro iṣẹ rẹ gbogbo, emi nronu iṣẹ ọwọ rẹ.
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 Emi nà ọwọ mi si ọ; ongbẹ rẹ ngbẹ ọkàn mi bi ilẹ gbigbẹ.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
7 Oluwa, gbọ́ temi nisisiyi; o rẹ̀ ọkàn mi tan; máṣe pa oju rẹ mọ́ kuro lara mi, ki emi ki o má bà dabi awọn ti o lọ sinu ihò.
7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 Mu mi gbọ́ iṣeun-ifẹ rẹ li owurọ; nitori iwọ ni mo gbẹkẹle: mu mi mọ̀ ọ̀na ti emi iba ma tọ̀; nitori mo gbé ọkàn mi soke si ọ.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 Oluwa, gbà mi lọwọ awọn ọta mi: ọdọ rẹ ni mo sa pamọ́ si.
9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10 Kọ́ mi lati ṣe ohun ti o wù ọ: nitori iwọ li Ọlọrun mi: jẹ ki ẹmi rẹ didara fà mi lọ ni ilẹ ti o tẹju.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 Oluwa, sọ mi di ãye nitori orukọ rẹ: ninu ododo rẹ mu ọkàn mi jade ninu iṣẹ́.
11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 Ati ninu ãnu rẹ ke awọn ọta mi kuro, ki o si run gbogbo awọn ti nni ọkàn mi lara: nitori pe iranṣẹ rẹ li emi iṣe.
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
