1 OLUWA ni mo fi ohùn mi kigbe pè; ohùn mi ni mo fi mbẹ̀bẹ mi si Oluwa.
1 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2 Emi tú aroye mi silẹ niwaju rẹ̀; emi fi iṣẹ́ mi hàn niwaju rẹ̀.
2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
3 Nigbati ọkàn mi rẹ̀wẹsi ninu mi, nigbana ni iwọ mọ̀ ipa-ọ̀na mi. Li ọ̀na ti emi nrìn ni nwọn dẹkùn silẹ fun mi nikọ̀kọ.
3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4 Emi wò ọwọ ọtún, mo si ri pe, kò si ẹnikan ti o mọ̀ mi: àbo dẹti fun mi; kò si ẹniti o nãni ọkàn mi.
4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5 Oluwa, iwọ ni mo kigbe pè: emi wipe, iwọ li àbo mi ati ipin mi ni ilẹ alãye.
5 I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6 Fiyesi igbe mi: nitori ti a rẹ̀ mi silẹ gidigidi: gbà mi lọwọ awọn oninu-nibini mi. Nitori nwọn lagbara ju mi lọ.
6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7 Mu ọkàn mi jade kuro ninu tubu, ki emi ki o le ma yìn orukọ rẹ; awọn olododo yio yi mi ka kiri; nitori iwọ o fi ọ̀pọlọpọ ba mi ṣe.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
