Psalms 141 - Listen Online

¹ OLUWA, emi kigbe pè ọ: yara si ọdọ mi; fi eti si ohùn mi, nigbati mo ba nkepè ọ.

¹ LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

² Jẹ ki adura mi ki o wá si iwaju rẹ bi ẹbọ turari; ati igbé ọwọ mi soke bi ẹbọ aṣãlẹ.

² Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

³ Oluwa, fi ẹṣọ́ siwaju ẹnu mi; pa ilẹkun ète mi mọ́.

³ Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

⁴ Máṣe fà aiya mi si ohun ibi kan, lati ma ba awọn ti nṣiṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ ṣiṣẹ buburu; má si jẹ ki emi ki o jẹ ninu ohun didùn wọn.

⁴ Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

⁵ Jẹ ki olododo ki o lù mi; iṣeun ni yio jasi: jẹ ki o si ba mi wi; ororo daradara ni yio jasi, ti kì yio fọ́ mi lori: sibẹ adura mi yio sa wà nitori jamba wọn.

⁵ Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

⁶ Nigbati a ba bì awọn onidajọ wọn ṣubu ni ibi okuta, nwọn o gbọ́ ọ̀rọ mi, nitori ti o dùn.

⁶ When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

⁷ Egungun wa tàn kalẹ li ẹnu isà-òkú, ẹniti o la aporo sori ilẹ.

⁷ Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

⁸ Ṣugbọn oju mi mbẹ lara rẹ; Ọlọrun Oluwa, lọdọ rẹ ni igbẹkẹle mi wà; máṣe tú ọkàn mi dà silẹ.

⁸ But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

⁹ Pa mi mọ́ kuro ninu okùn ti nwọn dẹ silẹ fun mi, ati ikẹkùn awọn oniṣẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ.

⁹ Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

¹⁰ Jẹ ki awọn enia buburu ki o bọ́ sinu àwọn ara wọn, nigbati emi ba kọja lọ.

¹⁰ Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
