Read Psalms 131
1 OLUWA, aiya mi kò gbega, bẹ̃li oju mi kò gbé soke: bẹ̃li emi kò fi ọwọ mi le ọ̀ran nla, tabi le ohun ti o ga jù mi lọ.
1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Nitõtọ emi mu ọkàn mi simi, mo si mu u dakẹjẹ, bi ọmọ ti a ti ọwọ iya rẹ̀ gbà li ẹnu ọmu: ọkàn mi ri bi ọmọ ti a já li ẹnu ọmu.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Israeli, iwọ ni ireti lọdọ Oluwa lati isisiyi lọ ati lailai.
3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
