¹ LATI inu ibu wá li emi kepe ọ, Oluwa.

¹ Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

² Oluwa, gbohùn mi, jẹ ki eti rẹ ki o tẹ́ silẹ si ohùn ẹ̀bẹ mi.

² Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

³ Oluwa, ibaṣepe iwọ a mã sami ẹ̀ṣẹ, Oluwa, tani iba duro?

³ If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

⁴ Nitori idariji wà lọdọ rẹ, ki a le ma bẹ̀ru rẹ.

⁴ But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

⁵ Emi duro dè Oluwa, ọkàn mi duro, ati ninu ọ̀rọ rẹ̀ li emi nṣe ireti.

⁵ I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

⁶ Ọkàn mi duro dè Oluwa, jù awọn ti nṣọ́na owurọ lọ, ani jù awọn ti nṣọ́na owurọ lọ.

⁶ My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

⁷ Israeli iwọ ni ireti niti Oluwa: nitori pe lọdọ Oluwa li ãnu wà, ati lọdọ rẹ̀ li ọ̀pọlọpọ idande wà.

⁷ Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

⁸ On o si da Israeli nidè kuro ninu ẹ̀ṣẹ rẹ̀ gbogbo,

⁸ And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
