1 NIGBANA ni Bildadi, ara Ṣua, dahùn o si wipe,
1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 Nigba wo li ẹnyin o to fi idi ọ̀rọ tì; ẹ rò o, nigbẹhin rẹ̀ li awa o to ma sọ.
2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
3 Nitori kili a ṣe nkà wa si bi ẹranko, ti a si nkà wa si bi ẹni ẹ̀gan li oju nyin!
3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
4 Iwọ nfa ara rẹ ya pẹrẹpẹrẹ ninu ibinu rẹ, ki a ha kọ̀ aiye silẹ nitori rẹ bi? tabi ki a ṣi apata kuro ni ipo rẹ̀?
4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
5 Nitotọ imọlẹ enia buburu li a o pa kuro, ọ̀wọ-iná rẹ̀ kì yio si tan imọlẹ:
5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
6 Imọlẹ yio ṣokunkun ninu agọ rẹ̀, fitila rẹ̀ li a o si pa pẹlu rẹ̀.
6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
7 Irin ẹsẹ agbara rẹ̀ yio di fifọn, ìmọ on tikararẹ ni yio bi i ṣubu.
7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
8 Nipa ẹsẹ on tikararẹ̀ o ti bọ́ sinu àwọn, o si rìn lori okùn didẹ.
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
9 Okùn ẹgẹ́ ni yio mu u ni gigĩsẹ, awọn igara yio si ṣẹgun rẹ̀.
9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.
10 A dẹkùn silẹ fun u lori ilẹ, a si wà ọ̀fin fun u loju ọ̀na.
10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
11 Ẹ̀ru nla yio bà a ni iha gbogbo, yio si le e de ẹsẹ rẹ̀.
11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
12 Ailera rẹ̀ yio di pipa fun ebi, iparun yio dide duro si i ni iha rẹ̀.
12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.
13 Yio jẹ ẹ̀ya ara rẹ̀, akọbi ikú ni yio jẹ agbara rẹ̀ run.
13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
14 Eyi ti o ti gbẹkẹle ni a o fàtu kuro ninu agọ rẹ̀, yio si tọ̀ ọba ẹ̀ru nla nì lọ.
14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
15 Yio si ma joko ninu agọ rẹ̀ eyi ti kì iṣe tirẹ̀, imi-õrùn li a ọ fún kakiri si ara ile rẹ̀.
15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
16 Gbongbo rẹ̀ yio gbẹ nisalẹ, a o si ke ẹ̀ka rẹ̀ kuro loke.
16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
17 Iranti rẹ̀ yio parun kuro li aiye, kì yio si orukọ rẹ̀ ni igboro ilu.
17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18 A o si le e lati inu imọlẹ sinu òkunkun, a o si le e kuro li aiye.
18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19 Kì yio ni ọmọ bibikunrin tabi ajọbi-kunrin ninu awọn enia rẹ̀, bẹ̃ni kò si ẹnikan ti o kù ninu agbo ile rẹ̀.
19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
20 Ẹnu yio ya awọn iran ti ìwọ-õrùn si igba ọjọ rẹ̀, gẹgẹ bi ẹ̀ru iwariri ti ba awọn iran ti ila-õrùn.
20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
21 Nitõtọ iru-bẹ̃ ni ibujoko awọn enia buburu, eyi si ni ipo ẹni ti kò mọ̀ Ọlọrun.
21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
