Read Job 19
1 NIGBANA ni Jobu dahùn o si wipe,
1 Then Job answered and said,
2 Yio ti pẹ to ti ẹnyin o fi ma bà mi ninu jẹ, ti ẹnyin o fi ma fi ọ̀rọ kun mi ni ìjanja?
2 How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3 Igba mẹwa li ẹnyin ti ngàn mi, oju kò tì nyin ti ẹ fi jẹ mi niya.
3 These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.
4 Ki a fi sí bẹ̃ pe, mo ṣìna nitõtọ, ìṣina mi wà lara emi tikarami.
4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
5 Bi o tilẹ ṣepe ẹnyin o ṣogo si mi lori nitõtọ, ti ẹ o si ma fi ẹ̀gan mi gun mi loju.
5 If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:
6 Ki ẹ mọ̀ nisisiyi pe: Ọlọrun li o bì mi ṣubu, o si nà àwọn rẹ̀ yi mi ka.
6 Know now that God hath overthrown me, and hath compassed me with his net.
7 Kiyesi i, emi nkigbe pe, Ọwọ́ alagbara! ṣugbọn a kò gbọ́ ti emi; mo kigbe soke, bẹ̃ni kò si idajọ.
7 Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment.
8 O sọ̀gba di ọ̀na mi ti emi kò le kọja, o si mu òkunkun ṣú si ipa ọ̀na mi:
8 He hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
9 O ti bọ́ ogo mi, o si ṣi ade kuro li ori mi.
9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head.
10 O ti bà mi jẹ ni iha gbogbo, ẹmi si pin; ireti mi li a o si fatu bi igi:
10 He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
11 O si tinabọ ibinu rẹ̀ si mi, o si kà mi si bi ọkan ninu awọn ọta rẹ̀.
11 He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies.
12 Ẹgbẹ́ ogun rẹ̀ si dàpọ si mi, nwọn si tẹgun si mi, nwọn si dó yi agọ mi ka.
12 His troops come together, and raise up their way against me, and encamp round about my tabernacle.
13 O mu awọn arakunrin mi jina si mi rére, ati awọn ojulumọ mi di ajeji si mi nitõtọ.
13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14 Awọn ajọbi mi fà sẹhin, awọn afaramọ́ ọrẹ mi si di onigbagbe mi.
14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
15 Awọn ara inu ile mi ati awọn ọmọbinrin iranṣẹ mi kà mi si ajeji, emi jasi ajeji enia li oju wọn.
15 They that dwell in mine house, and my maids, count me for a stranger: I am an alien in their sight.
16 Mo pè iranṣẹ mi, on kò si da mi lohùn, mo fi ẹnu mi bẹ̀ ẹ.
16 I called my servant, and he gave me no answer; I intreated him with my mouth.
17 Ẹmi mi sú aya mi, ati õrùn mi sú awọn ọmọ inu iya mi.
17 My breath is strange to my wife, though I intreated for the children's sake of mine own body.
18 Ani awọn ọmọde fi mi ṣẹsin: mo dide, nwọn si sọ̀rọ ẹ̀gan si mi.
18 Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me.
19 Gbogbo awọn ọrẹ idimọpọ mi korira mi, awọn olufẹ mi si kẹ̀hinda mi.
19 All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
20 Egungun mi lẹ mọ́ awọ ara mi ati mọ́ ẹran ara mi, mo si bọ́ pẹlu awọ ehin mi.
20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
21 Ẹ ṣãnu fun mi, ẹ ṣãnu fun mi, ẹnyin ọrẹ mi, nitori ọwọ Ọlọrun ti bà mi.
21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
22 Nitori kili ẹnyin ṣe lepa mi bi Ọlọrun, ti ẹran ara mi kò tẹ́ nyin lọrùn!
22 Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
23 A! Ibaṣepe a le kọwe ọ̀rọ mi nisisiyi, ibaṣepe a le dà a sinu iwe!
23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24 Ki a fi kalamu irin ati ti ojé kọ́ wọn sinu apata fun lailai.
24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
25 Ati emi, emi mọ̀ pe Oludande mi mbẹ li ãyè, ati pe on bi Ẹni-ikẹhin ni yio dide soke lori erupẹ ilẹ.
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 Ati lẹhin igba awọ ara mi, ti a ti ke e kuro bi iru eyi, ati laili ẹran ara mi li emi o ri Ọlọrun,
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Ẹniti emi o ri fun ara mi, ti oju mi o si wò, kì si iṣe ti ẹlomiran; ọkàn mi si dáku ni inu mi.
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
28 Bi ẹnyin ba wipe, Awa o ti lepa rẹ̀ to! ati pe, gbongbo ọ̀rọ na li a sa ri li ọwọ mi,
28 But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
29 Ki ẹnyin ki o bẹ̀ru idà; nitoripe ibinu ni imu ijiya idà wá: ki ẹnyin ki o lè imọ̀ pe idajọ kan mbẹ.
29 Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
