Read Job 13

1 Wò o, oju mi ti ri gbogbo eyi ri, eti mi si gbọ́ o si ti ye e.

1 Lo, mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.

2 Ohun ti ẹnyin mọ̀, emi mọ̀ pẹlu, emi kì iṣe ọmọ-ẹhin nyin.

2 What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.

3 Nitotọ emi o ba Olodumare sọ̀rọ, emi si nfẹ ba Ọlọrun sọ asọye.

3 Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

4 Ẹnyin ni onihumọ eke, oniṣegun lasan ni gbogbo nyin.

4 But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.

5 O ṣe! ẹ ba kuku pa ẹnu nyin mọ patapata! eyini ni iba si ṣe ọgbọ́n nyin.

5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

6 Ẹ gbọ́ awiye mi nisisiyi, ẹ si fetisilẹ si aroye ẹnu mi.

6 Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.

7 Ẹnyin fẹ sọ isọkusọ fun Ọlọrun? ki ẹ si fi ẹ̀tan sọ̀rọ gbè e?

7 Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?

8 Ẹnyin fẹ ṣojusaju rẹ̀, ẹnyin fẹ igbìjà fun Ọlọrun?

8 Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

9 O ha dara ti yio fi hudi nyin silẹ, tabi ki ẹnyin tàn a bi ẹnikan ti itan ẹnikeji.

9 Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?

10 Yio ma ba nyin wi nitotọ, bi ẹnyin ba ṣojusaju enia nikọ̀kọ.

10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

11 Iwa ọlá rẹ̀ ki yio bà nyin lẹ̃ru bi? ipaiya rẹ̀ ki yio pá nyin laiya?

11 Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?

12 Iranti nyin dabi ẽru, ilu-odi nyin dabi ilu-odi amọ̀.

12 Your remembrances are like unto ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.

13 Ẹ pa ẹnu nyin mọ kuro lara mi, ki emi ki o le sọ̀rọ, ohun ti mbọ̀ wá iba mi, ki o ma bọ̀.

13 Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

14 Njẹ nitori kili emi ṣe nfi ehin mi bù ẹran ara mi jẹ, ti mo si gbe ẹmi mi le ara mi lọwọ?

14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?

15 Bi o tilẹ pa mi, sibẹ emi o ma gbẹkẹle e, ṣugbọn emi o ma tẹnumọ ọ̀na mi niwaju rẹ̀.

15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

16 Eyi ni yio si ṣe igbala mi pe: àgabagebe kì yio wá siwaju rẹ̀.

16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

17 Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ ẹnu mi ni ifaiyabalẹ, ati asọpe mi li eti nyin.

17 Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.

18 Wò o nisisiyi emi ti ladi ọ̀ran mi silẹ; emi mọ̀ pe a ó da mi lare.

18 Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.

19 Tani on ti yio ba mi ṣàroye? njẹ nisisiyi, emi fẹ pa ẹnu mi mọ, emi o si jọwọ ẹmi mi lọwọ.

19 Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.

20 Ṣugbọn ọkan ni, máṣe ṣe ohun meji yi si mi, nigbana ni emi kì yio si fi ara mi pamọ, kuro fun ọ,

20 Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.

21 Fa ọwọ rẹ sẹhin kuro lara mi; má si jẹ ki ẹ̀ru rẹ ki o pá mi laiya.

21 Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.

22 Nigbana ni ki iwọ ki o pè, emi o si dahùn, tabi jẹ ki nma sọ̀rọ, ki iwọ ki o si da mi lohùn.

22 Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.

23 Melo li aiṣedede ati ẹ̀ṣẹ mi, mu mi mọ̀ irekọja ati ẹ̀ṣẹ mi!

23 How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.

24 Nitori kini iwọ ṣe pa oju rẹ mọ́, ti o si yàn mi li ọta rẹ?

24 Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?

25 Iwọ o fa ewe ya ti afẹfẹ nfẹ sihin sọhun: iwọ a si ma lepa akemọlẹ poroporo gbigbẹ!

25 Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

26 Nitoripe iwọ kọwe ohun kikoro si mi, o si mu mi ni aiṣedede ewe mi.

26 For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

27 Iwọ kàn àba mọ mi lẹsẹ pẹlu, iwọ si nwò ipa ọ̀na irin mi li awofin, iwọ si nfi ãlà yi gigisẹ mi ka.

27 Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly unto all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.

28 Ani, yi ẹniti a ti run ka, bi ohun ti o bu, bi aṣọ ti kòkoro jẹ bajẹ.

28 And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth eaten.
