¹ BAYI li Oluwa wi, Sọkalẹ lọ si ile ọba Juda, ki o si sọ ọ̀rọ yi nibẹ.

¹ Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,

² Si wipe, Gbọ́ ọ̀rọ Oluwa, ọba Juda, ti o joko ni itẹ Dafidi, iwọ, ati awọn iranṣẹ rẹ, ati awọn enia rẹ ti o wọle ẹnu-bode wọnyi.

² And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

³ Bayi li Oluwa wi; Mu idajọ ati ododo ṣẹ, ki o si gbà ẹniti a lọ lọwọ gbà kuro lọwọ aninilara, ki o máṣe fi agbara ati ìka lò alejo, alainibaba ati opó, bẹ̃ni ki o máṣe ta ẹ̀jẹ alaiṣẹ silẹ nihinyi.

³ Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

⁴ Nitori bi ẹnyin ba ṣe nkan yi nitõtọ, nigbana ni awọn ọba yio wọle ẹnu-bode ilu yi, ti nwọn o joko lori itẹ Dafidi, ti yio gun kẹ̀kẹ ati ẹṣin, on, ati awọn iranṣẹ rẹ̀, ati enia rẹ̀.

⁴ For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.

⁵ Ṣugbọn bi ẹnyin kì yio ba gbọ́ ọ̀rọ wọnyi, Emi fi emitikarami bura, li Oluwa wi, pe, ile yi yio di ahoro.

⁵ But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

⁶ Nitori bayi li Oluwa wi fun ile ọba Juda; Gileadi ni iwọ si mi, ori Lebanoni: sibẹ, lõtọ emi o sọ ọ di aginju, ati ilu ti a kò gbe inu wọn.

⁶ For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

⁷ Emi o ya awọn apanirun sọtọ fun ọ, olukuluku pẹlu ihamọra rẹ̀: nwọn o si ke aṣayan igi kedari rẹ lulẹ, nwọn o si sọ wọn sinu iná.

⁷ And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

⁸ Ọ̀pọlọpọ orilẹ-ède yio rekọja lẹba ilu yi, nwọn o wi, ẹnikan fun ẹnikeji rẹ̀ pe, Ẽṣe ti Oluwa ṣe bayi si ilu nla yi?

⁸ And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city?

⁹ Nigbana ni nwọn o dahùn pe, nitoriti nwọn ti kọ̀ majẹmu Oluwa Ọlọrun wọn silẹ; ti nwọn fi ori balẹ fun ọlọrun miran, nwọn si sìn wọn.

⁹ Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

¹⁰ Ẹ máṣe sọkun fun okú, bẹ̃ni ki ẹ máṣe pohùnrere rẹ̀, ṣugbọn ẹ sọkun ẹ̀dun fun ẹniti o nlọ, nitori kì yio pada wá mọ, kì yio si ri ilẹ rẹ̀ mọ.

¹⁰ Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

¹¹ Nitori bayi li Oluwa wi fun Ṣallumu, ọmọ Josiah, ọba Juda, ti o jọba ni ipo Josiah, baba rẹ̀, ti o jade kuro nihin pe, On kì yio pada wá mọ.

¹¹ For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:

¹² Ṣugbọn yio kú ni ibi ti a mu u ni igbèkun lọ, kì yio si ri ilẹ yi mọ.

¹² But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.

¹³ Egbe ni fun ẹniti o kọ́ ilẹ rẹ̀, ti kì iṣe nipa ododo, ati iyẹwu rẹ̀, ti kì iṣe nipa ẹ̀tọ́: ti o lò iṣẹ ọwọ aladugbo rẹ̀ lọfẹ, ti kò fi ere iṣẹ rẹ̀ fun u.

¹³ Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

¹⁴ Ti o wipe, emi o kọ ile ti o ni ibò fun ara mi, ati iyẹwu nla, ti o ke oju ferese fun ara rẹ̀, ti o fi igi kedari bò o, ti o si fi ajẹ̀ kùn u.

¹⁴ That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

¹⁵ Iwọ o ha jọba, nitori iwọ fi igi kedari dije? baba rẹ kò ha jẹ, kò ha mu? o si ṣe idajọ ati ododo, nitorina o dara fun u.

¹⁵ Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

¹⁶ O dajọ ọ̀ran talaka ati alaini; o dara fun u: bi ãti mọ̀ mi kọ́ eyi? li Oluwa wi.

¹⁶ He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

¹⁷ Ṣugbọn oju rẹ̀ ati ọkàn rẹ kì iṣe fun ohunkohun bikoṣe ojukokoro rẹ, ati lati ta ẹ̀jẹ alaiṣẹ silẹ, ati lati ṣe ininilara ati agbara.

¹⁷ But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

¹⁸ Nitorina bayi li Oluwa wi nitori Jehoiakimu ọmọ Josiah, ọba Juda, nwọn kì yio ṣọ̀fọ fun u, wipe, Oṣe! arakunrin mi! tabi Oṣe! arabinrin mi! nwọn kì o ṣọ̀fọ fun u pe, Oṣe, oluwa! tabi Oṣe, ọlọla!

¹⁸ Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

¹⁹ A o sin i ni isinkú kẹtẹkẹtẹ, ti a wọ́ ti a si sọ junù kuro ni ẹnu-bode Jerusalemu.

¹⁹ He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

²⁰ Goke lọ si Lebanoni, ki o si ke, ki o si gbe ohùn rẹ soke ni Baṣani, ki o kigbe lati Abarimu, nitori a ti ṣẹ́ gbogbo olufẹ rẹ tutu,

²⁰ Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed.

²¹ Emi ti ba ọ sọ̀rọ ni ìgba ire rẹ; iwọ wipe, emi kì yio gbọ́. Eyi ni ìwa rẹ lati igba ewe rẹ wá, ti iwọ kò si gba ohùn mi gbọ.

²¹ I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

²² Ẹfũfu yio fẹ gbogbo oluṣọ-agutan rẹ lọ, ati awọn olufẹ rẹ yio lọ si ìgbekun: nitõtọ, ni wakati na ni oju yio tì ọ, iwọ o si dãmu nitori gbogbo buburu rẹ.

²² The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.

²³ Iwọ, olugbe Lebanoni, ti o tẹ́ itẹ si ori igi kedari, iwọ o ti jẹ otoṣi to, nigbati irora ba deba ọ, irora bi obinrin ti nrọbi!

²³ O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

²⁴ Bi emi ti wà, li Oluwa wi, bi Koniah, ọmọ Jehoiakimu, ọba Juda, tilẹ jẹ oruka-èdidi lọwọ ọtun mi, sibẹ̀ emi o fà ọ tu kuro nibẹ.

²⁴ As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

²⁵ Emi o si fi ọ le ọwọ awọn ti o nwá ẹmi rẹ, ati le ọwọ ẹniti iwọ bẹ̀ru rẹ̀, ani le ọwọ Nebukadnessari, ọba Babeli, ati ọwọ awọn ara Kaldea.

²⁵ And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

²⁶ Emi o tì ọ sode, ati iya rẹ ti o bi ọ si ilẹ miran, nibiti a kò bi nyin si; nibẹ li ẹnyin o si kú.

²⁶ And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.

²⁷ Ṣugbọn ilẹ na ti ẹnyin fẹ li ọkàn nyin lati pada si, nibẹ ni ẹnyin kì o pada si mọ.

²⁷ But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.

²⁸ Ọkunrin yi, Koniah, ohun-èlo ẹlẹgan, fifọ ha ni bi? o ha dabi ohun-èlo ti kò ni ẹwà lara? ẽṣe ti a tì wọn jade, on, ati iru-ọmọ rẹ̀, ti a si le wọn jade si ilẹ ti nwọn kò mọ̀?

²⁸ Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

²⁹ Ilẹ! ilẹ! ilẹ! gbọ́ ọ̀rọ Oluwa!

²⁹ O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

³⁰ Bayi li Oluwa wi, Ẹ kọwe pe, ọkunrin yi alailọmọ ni, ẹniti kì yio ri rere li ọjọ aiye rẹ̀: nitori ọkan ninu iru-ọmọ rẹ̀ kì yio ri rere, ti yio fi joko lori itẹ Dafidi, ti yio si fi tun jọba lori Juda.

³⁰ Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
