1 EGBE ni fun awọn oluṣọ-agutan, ti nmu agbo-ẹran mi ṣìna, ti o si ntú wọn ka, li Oluwa wi.

1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

2 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa Ọlọrun Israeli, wi si oluṣọ-agutan wọnni, ti nṣọ enia mi; Ẹnyin tú agbo-ẹran mi ká, ẹ le wọn junù, ẹnyin kò si bẹ̀ wọn wò, sa wò o, emi o bẹ̀ nyin wò nitori buburu iṣe nyin, li Oluwa wi.

2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

3 Emi o si kó iyokù agbo-ẹran mi jọ lati inu gbogbo ilẹ, ti mo ti le wọn si, emi o si mu wọn pada wá sinu pápá oko wọn, nwọn o bi si i, nwọn o si rẹ̀ si i.

3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

4 Emi o gbe oluṣọ-agutan dide fun wọn, ti yio bọ́ wọn: nwọn kì yio bẹ̀ru mọ́, tabi nwọn kì yio si dãmu, bẹ̃li ọkan ninu wọn kì yio si sọnu, li Oluwa wi.

4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

5 Sa wò o, ọjọ mbọ, li Oluwa wi, ti emi o gbe Ẹka ododo soke fun Dafidi, yio si jẹ Ọba, yio si ṣe rere, yio si ṣe idajọ ati ododo ni ilẹ na.

5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

6 Li ọjọ rẹ̀ ni a o gba Juda là, Israeli yio si ma gbe li ailewu, ati eyi li orukọ ti a o ma pè e: OLUWA ODODO WA.

6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

7 Nitorina, sa wò o, ọjọ mbọ̀, li Oluwa wi, ti nwọn kì yio tun wipe, Oluwa mbẹ, ti o mu awọn ọmọ Israeli jade kuro ni ilẹ Egipti:

7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

8 Ṣugbọn pe, Oluwa mbẹ, ti o mu iru-ọmọ ile Israeli wá, ti o si tọ́ wọn lati ilu ariwa wá, ati lati ilu wọnni nibi ti mo ti lé wọn si, nwọn o si gbe inu ilẹ wọn.

8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

9 Si awọn woli. Ọkàn mi ti bajẹ ninu mi, gbogbo egungun mi mì; emi dabi ọmuti, ati ọkunrin ti ọti-waini ti bori rẹ̀ niwaju Oluwa, ati niwaju ọ̀rọ ìwa-mimọ́ rẹ̀.

9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

10 Nitori ilẹ na kún fun awọn panṣaga; ilẹ na nṣọ̀fọ, nitori egún, pápá oko aginju gbẹ: irìn wọn di buburu, agbara wọn kò si to.

10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

11 Nitori, ati woli ati alufa, nwọn bajẹ; pẹlupẹlu ninu ile mi ni mo ri ìwa-buburu wọn, li Oluwa wi.

11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

12 Nitorina ipa-ọ̀na wọn yio jẹ fun wọn bi ibi yiyọ́ li okunkun: a o tì wọn, nwọn o si ṣubu ninu rẹ̀, nitori emi o mu ibi wá sori wọn, ani ọdun ibẹ̀wo wọn, li Oluwa wi.

12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

13 Emi si ti ri were ninu awọn woli Samaria, nwọn sọ asọtẹlẹ li orukọ Baali, nwọn si mu Israeli enia mi ṣina.

13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

14 Emi ti ri irira lara awọn woli Jerusalemu, nwọn ṣe panṣaga, nwọn si rìn ninu eke, nwọn mu ọwọ oluṣe-buburu le tobẹ̃, ti kò si ẹnikan ti o yipada kuro ninu ìwa-buburu rẹ̀; gbogbo wọn dabi Sodomu niwaju mi, ati awọn olugbe rẹ̀ bi Gomorra.

14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

16 Bayi li Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun wi: Ẹ máṣe feti si ọ̀rọ awọn woli ti nsọ asọtẹlẹ fun nyin: nwọn sọ nyin di asan, nwọn sọ̀rọ iran inu ara wọn, kì iṣe lati ẹnu Oluwa.

16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

17 Nwọn wi sibẹ fun awọn ti o ngàn mi pe, Oluwa ti wi pe, Alafia yio wà fun nyin; nwọn si wi fun olukuluku ti o nrìn nipa agidi ọkàn rẹ̀, pe, kò si ibi kan ti yio wá sori nyin.

17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

18 Nitori tali o duro ninu igbimọ Oluwa, ti o woye, ti o si gbọ́ ọ̀rọ rẹ̀? tali o kíyesi ọ̀rọ rẹ̀, ti o si gbà a gbọ́?

18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

19 Sa wò o, afẹfẹ-ìji Oluwa! ibinu ti jade! afẹyika ìji yio ṣubu ni ikanra si ori awọn oluṣe buburu:

19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

20 Ibinu Oluwa kì yio pada, titi yio fi ṣe e, titi yio si fi mu iro inu rẹ̀ ṣẹ, li ọjọ ikẹhin ẹnyin o mọ̀ ọ daju.

20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

21 Emi kò ran awọn woli wọnyi, ṣugbọn nwọn sare: emi kò ba wọn sọ̀rọ, ṣugbọn nwọn sọ asọtẹlẹ.

21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

23 Emi ha iṣe Ọlọrun itosi? li Oluwa wi, kì iṣe Ọlọrun lati okere pẹlu?

23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24 Ẹnikẹni le fi ara rẹ̀ pamọ ni ibi ìkọkọ, ti emi kì yio ri i, li Oluwa wi. Emi kò ha kún ọrun on aiye, li Oluwa wi?

24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

25 Emi ti gbọ́ eyiti awọn woli sọ, ti nwọn sọ asọtẹlẹ li orukọ mi wi pe, Mo lá alá! mo lá alá!

25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

26 Yio ti pẹ to, ti eyi yio wà li ọkàn awọn woli ti nsọ asọtẹlẹ eke? ani, awọn alasọtẹlẹ ẹ̀tan ọkàn wọn.

26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

28 Woli na ti o lála, jẹ ki o rọ́ ọ; ati ẹniti o ni ọ̀rọ mi, jẹ ki o fi ododo sọ ọ̀rọ mi. Kini iyangbo ni iṣe ninu ọkà, li Oluwa wi?

28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

29 Ọ̀rọ mi kò ha dabi iná? li Oluwa wi; ati bi òlu irin ti nfọ́ apata tútu?

29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

30 Nitorina sa wò o, emi dojukọ awọn woli, li Oluwa wi, ti o nji ọ̀rọ mi, ẹnikini lati ọwọ ẹnikeji rẹ̀.

30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

31 Sa wò o, emi o dojukọ awọn woli, li Oluwa wi, ti nwọn lò ahọn wọn, ti nwọn nsọ jade pe: O wi.

31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

32 Sa wò o, emi dojukọ awọn ti o nsọ asọtẹlẹ alá èke, li Oluwa wi, ti nwọn si nrọ́ wọn, ti nwọn si mu enia mi ṣìna nipa eke wọn, ati nipa iran wọn: ṣugbọn emi kò rán wọn, emi kò si paṣẹ fun wọn: nitorina, nwọn kì yio ràn awọn enia yi lọwọ rara, li Oluwa wi.

32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

33 Ati nigbati awọn enia yi, tabi woli, tabi alufa, yio bi ọ lere wipe, kini Ọ̀rọ-wuwo Oluwa? nigbana ni iwọ o wi fun wọn Ọ̀rọ-wuwo ni eyi pé: Emi o tì nyin jade, li Oluwa wi.

33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

34 Ati woli, ati alufa, ati awọn enia, ti yio wipe, Ọ̀rọ-wuwo Oluwa, emi o jẹ oluwa rẹ̀ ati ile rẹ̀ ni ìya.

34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

35 Bayi li ẹnyin o wi, ẹnikini fun ẹnikeji, ati ẹnikan fun arakunrin rẹ̀, pe Kini idahùn Oluwa? ati kini ọ̀rọ Oluwa?

35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

36 Ẹ kì o si ranti ọ̀rọ-wuwo Oluwa mọ́, nitori ọ̀rọ olukuluku yio di ẹrù-wuwo fun ontikararẹ̀; nitori ti ẹnyin ti yi ọ̀rọ Ọlọrun alãye dà, Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun, Ọlọrun wa.

36 And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

37 Bayi ni iwọ o wi fun woli nì pe: Idahùn wo li Oluwa fi fun ọ? ati pẹlu; Kini Oluwa wi?

37 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

38 Ṣugbọn bi ẹnyin ba wipe, ọ̀rọ-wuwo Oluwa, nitorina, bayi li Oluwa wi, nitori ẹnyin nsọ ọ̀rọ yi pe, ọ̀rọ-wuwo Oluwa ti emi si ranṣẹ si nyin pe ki ẹ máṣe wipe: ọ̀rọ-wuwọ Oluwa;

38 But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

39 Nitorina, sa wò o, Emi o gbagbe nyin patapata, emi o si kọ̀ nyin silẹ, emi o si tì nyin jade, ati ilu ti mo fi fun nyin ati fun awọn baba nyin, kuro niwaju mi.

39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:

40 Emi o si mu ẹ̀gan ainipẹkun wá sori nyin, ati itiju lailai, ti a kì yio gbagbe.

40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
