Read Isaiah 32

1 KIYESI i, ọba kan yio jẹ li ododo, awọn olori yio fi idajọ ṣe akoso.

1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

2 Ẹnikan yio si jẹ bi ibi isápamọ́ kuro loju ẹfũfu, ati ãbo kuro lọwọ ijì; bi odo-omi ni ibi gbigbẹ, bi ojiji apata nla ni ilẹ gbigbẹ.

2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

3 Oju awọn ẹniti o riran kì yio ṣe baibai, ati eti awọn ti o ngbọ́ yio tẹ́ silẹ.

3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

4 Ọkàn awọn oniwàduwàdu yio mọ̀ oye, ahọn awọn akolòlo yio sọ̀rọ kedere.

4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 A kì yio tun pè alaigbọ́n ni ẹni-ọlá mọ, bẹ̃ni a kì yio pe ọ̀bàlújẹ́ ni ẹni pataki mọ.

5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

6 Nitori eniakenia yio ma sọ isọkusọ, ọkàn rẹ̀ yio si ma ṣiṣẹ aiṣedede, lati ṣe agabàgebe, ati lati ṣì ọ̀rọ sọ si Oluwa, lati sọ ọkàn ẹniti ebi npa di ofo, ati lati mu ki ohun-mimu awọn ti ongbẹ ngbẹ ki o dá.

6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7 Ibi ni gbogbo ohun-elò enia-kenia jẹ pẹlu: on gbà èro buburu, lati fi ọ̀rọ eke pa talaka run, bi alaini tilẹ nsọ õtọ ọ̀rọ.

7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

8 Ṣugbọn ẹni-rere a ma gbèro ohun rere; nipa ohun-rere ni yio ṣe duro.

8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

9 Dide, ẹnyin obinrin ti o wà ni irọra; gbọ́ ohùn mi, ẹnyin alafara obinrin; fetisi ọ̀rọ mi.

9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.

10 Ọpọlọpọ ọjọ, on ọdún, li a o fi ma wahala nyin, ẹnyin alafara obinrin: nitori ikore kì yio si, kikojọ rẹ̀ kì yio de.

10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.

11 Warìri, ẹnyin obinrin ti o wà ni irọra; ki wahala ba nyin ẹnyin alafara: ẹ tú aṣọ, ki ẹ si wà ni ihòho, ki ẹ si dì àmure ẹgbẹ́ nyin.

11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

12 Nwọn o pohùnrere fun ọmú, fun pápa daradara, ati fun àjara eleso.

12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

13 Ẹgún ọ̀gan on òṣuṣu yio wá sori ilẹ awọn enia mi; nitõtọ, si gbogbo ile ayọ̀ ni ilu alayọ̀.

13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:

14 Nitoripe a o kọ̀ ãfin wọnni silẹ; a o fi ilu ariwo na silẹ; odi ati ile-iṣọ́ ni yio di ihò titi lai, ayọ̀ fun kẹtẹkẹ́tẹ-igbẹ, pápa-oko fun ọwọ́-ẹran;

14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

15 Titi a o fi tú Ẹmi jade si wa lara lati oke wá, ati ti aginju yio fi di ilẹ eléso, ti a o si kà ilẹ eleso si bi igbo.

15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

16 Nigbana ni idajọ yio ma gbe aginju; ati ododo ninu ilẹ eleso.

16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

17 Iṣẹ ododo yio si jẹ alafia, ati eso ododo yio jẹ idakẹjẹ on ãbo titi lai.

17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

18 Awọn enia mi yio si ma gbe ibugbe alafia, ati ni ibugbe idaniloju, ati ni ibi isimi iparọrọ;

18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

19 Ṣugbọn yio rọ̀ yìnyín, nigbati igbó nṣubu lulẹ; ati ni irẹlẹ a o rẹ̀ ilu na silẹ.

19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

20 Alabukun fun ni ẹnyin ti nfọ̀nrugbìn niha omi gbogbo, ti nrán ẹṣẹ malu ati ti kẹtẹkẹtẹ jade sibẹ.

20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
