¹ IWỌ kò gbọdọ gbà ìhin eke: máṣe li ọwọ́ si i pẹlu enia buburu lati ṣe ẹlẹri aiṣododo.

¹ Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

² Iwọ kò gbọdọ tọ̀ ọ̀pọlọpọ enia lẹhin lati ṣe ibi, bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ sọ̀rọ̀ li ọ̀ran ki o tẹ̀ si ọ̀pọ enia lati yi ẹjọ́ po.

² Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

³ Bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ gbè talaka li ẹjọ́ rẹ̀.

³ Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

⁴ Bi iwọ ba bá akọmalu tabi kẹtẹkẹtẹ ọtá rẹ ti o ṣina, ki iwọ ki o mú u pada fun u wá nitõtọ.

⁴ If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

⁵ Bi iwọ ba ri kẹtẹkẹtẹ ẹniti o korira rẹ, ti o dubulẹ labẹ ẹrù rẹ̀, ti iwọ iba yẹra lati bá a tú u, iwọ o bá a tú u nitõtọ.

⁵ If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

⁶ Iwọ kò gbọdọ yi ẹjọ́ talaka rẹ po li ọ̀ran rẹ̀.

⁶ Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

⁷ Takéte li ọ̀ran eke; ati alaiṣẹ ati olododo ni iwọ kò gbọdọ pa: nitoriti emi ki yio dá enia buburu lare.

⁷ Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

⁸ Iwọ kò gbọdọ gbà ọrẹ: nitori ọrẹ ni ifọ́ awọn ti o riran loju, a si yi ọ̀ran awọn olododo po.

⁸ And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

⁹ Ati pẹlu iwọ kò gbọdọ pọ́n alejò kan loju: ẹnyin sa ti mọ̀ inu alejò, nitoriti ẹnyin ti jẹ́ alejò ni ilẹ Egipti.

⁹ Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

¹⁰ Ọdún mẹfa ni iwọ o si gbìn ilẹ rẹ, on ni iwọ o si kó eso rẹ̀ jọ.

¹⁰ And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

¹¹ Ṣugbọn li ọdún keje iwọ o jẹ ki o simi, ki o si gbé jẹ; ki awọn talaka enia rẹ ki o ma jẹ ninu rẹ̀: eyiti nwọn si fisilẹ ni ki ẹran igbẹ ki o ma jẹ. Irú bẹ̃ gẹgẹ ni iwọ o ṣe si agbalá-àjara, ati agbalá-olifi rẹ.

¹¹ But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

¹² Ijọ́ mẹfa ni iwọ o ṣe iṣẹ rẹ, ni ijọ́ keje ki iwọ ki o si simi: ki akọmalu rẹ, ati kẹtẹkẹtẹ rẹ ki o le simi, ki a le tù ọmọ iranṣẹbinrin rẹ, ati alejò, lara.

¹² Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

¹³ Ati li ohun gbogbo ti mo wi fun nyin, ẹ ma ṣọra: ki ẹ má si ṣe iranti orukọ oriṣakoriṣa ki a má ṣe gbọ́ ọ li ẹnu nyin.

¹³ And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

¹⁴ Ni ìgba mẹta ni iwọ o ṣe ajọ fun mi li ọdún.

¹⁴ Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

¹⁵ Iwọ o kiyesi ajọ aiwukàra: ijọ́ meje ni iwọ o fi jẹ àkara alaiwu, bi mo ti pa a laṣẹ fun ọ, li akokò oṣù Abibu (nitori ninu rẹ̀ ni iwọ jade kuro ni Egipti); a kò gbọdọ ri ẹnikan niwaju mi li ọwọ́ ofo:

¹⁵ Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

¹⁶ Ati ajọ ikore, akọ́so iṣẹ rẹ, ti iwọ gbìn li oko rẹ: ati ajọ ikore oko, li opin ọdún, nigbati iwọ ba ṣe ikore iṣẹ oko rẹ tán.

¹⁶ And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

¹⁷ Ni ìgba mẹta li ọdún ni gbogbo awọn ọkunrin rẹ yio farahàn niwaju Oluwa JEHOFA.

¹⁷ Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

¹⁸ Iwọ kò gbọdọ ta ọrẹ ẹ̀jẹ ẹbọ mi ti on ti àkara wiwu; bẹ̃li ọrá ẹbọ ajọ mi kò gbọdọ kù titi di ojumọ́.

¹⁸ Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

¹⁹ Akọ́ka eso ilẹ rẹ ni ki iwọ ki o múwa si ile OLUWA Ọlọrun rẹ. Iwọ kò gbọdọ bọ̀ ọmọ ewurẹ ninu warà iya rẹ̀.

¹⁹ The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

²⁰ Kiyesi i, emi rán angeli kan siwaju rẹ lati pa ọ mọ́ li ọ̀na, ati lati mú ọ dé ibi ti mo ti pèse silẹ.

²⁰ Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

²¹ Kiyesi ara lọdọ rẹ̀, ki o si gbà ohùn rẹ̀ gbọ́, máṣe bi i ninu; nitoriti ki yio dari irekọja nyin jì nyin, nitoriti orukọ mi mbẹ lara rẹ̀.

²¹ Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

²² Ṣugbọn bi iwọ o ba gbà ohùn rẹ̀ gbọ́ nitõtọ, ti iwọ si ṣe gbogbo eyiti mo wi; njẹ emi o jasi ọtá awọn ẹniti nṣe ọtá nyin, emi o si foró awọn ti nforó nyin.

²² But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

²³ Nitoriti angeli mi yio ṣaju rẹ, yio si mú ọ dé ọdọ awọn enia Amori, ati awọn Hitti, ati awọn Perissi, ati awọn ara Kenaani, awọn Hifi, ati awọn Jebusi: emi a si ke wọn kuro.

²³ For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

²⁴ Iwọ kò gbọdọ tẹriba fun oriṣa wọn, bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ sìn wọn, ki o má si ṣe gẹgẹ bi iṣe wọn: bikoṣepe ki iwọ ki o fọ́ wọn tútu, ki iwọ ki o si wó ere wọn palẹ.

²⁴ Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

²⁵ Ẹnyin o si ma sìn OLUWA Ọlọrun nyin, on o si busi onjẹ rẹ, ati omi rẹ; emi o si mú àrun kuro lãrin rẹ.

²⁵ And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

²⁶ Obinrin kan ki yio ṣẹ́nu, bẹ̃ni ki yio yàgan ni ilẹ rẹ: iye ọjọ́ rẹ li emi ó fi kún.

²⁶ There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

²⁷ Emi o rán ẹ̀ru mi siwaju rẹ, emi o si dà gbogbo awọn enia rú ọdọ ẹniti iwọ o dé, emi o si mu gbogbo awọn ọtá rẹ yi ẹ̀hin wọn dà si ọ.

²⁷ I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

²⁸ Emi o si rán agbọ́n siwaju rẹ, ti yio lé awọn enia Hifi, ati awọn ara Kenaani, ati awọn enia Hitti kuro niwaju rẹ.

²⁸ And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

²⁹ Emi ki yio lé wọn jade kuro niwaju rẹ li ọdún kan; ki ilẹ na ki o má ba di ijù, ki ẹranko igbẹ́ ki o má ba rẹ̀ si ọ.

²⁹ I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

³⁰ Diẹdiẹ li emi o ma lé wọn jade kuro niwaju rẹ, titi iwọ o fi di pupọ̀, ti iwọ o si tẹ̀ ilẹ na dó.

³⁰ By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

³¹ Emi o si fi opinlẹ rẹ lelẹ, lati Okun Pupa wá titi yio fi dé okun awọn ara Filistia, ati lati aṣalẹ̀ nì wá dé odò nì; nitoriti emi o fi awọn olugbe ilẹ na lé nyin lọwọ; iwọ o si lé wọn jade kuro niwaju rẹ.

³¹ And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

³² Iwọ kò gbọdọ bá wọn ṣe adehùn, ati awọn oriṣa wọn pẹlu.

³² Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

³³ Nwọn kò gbọdọ joko ni ilẹ rẹ, ki nwọn ki o má ba mu ọ ṣẹ̀ si mi: nitori bi iwọ ba sìn oriṣa wọn, yio ṣe idẹkùn fun ọ nitõtọ.

³³ They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
