Read Amos 4
1 Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ yi, ẹnyin ọmọ malu Baṣan, ti o wà li oke nla Samaria, ti o nni talakà lara, ti o ntẹ̀ alaini rẹ́, ti o nwi fun oluwa wọn pe, Gbe wá, ki a si mu.
1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
2 Oluwa Ọlọrun ti bura ninu iwà-mimọ́ rẹ̀, pe, Sa wò o, ọjọ wọnni yio de ba nyin, ti on o fi ìwọ gbe nyin kuro, yio si fi ìwọ-ẹja gbe iran nyin.
2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.
3 Ati ni ibi yiya odi wọnni li ẹnyin o ba jade lọ, olukuluku niwaju rẹ̀ gan; ẹnyin o si gbe ara nyin sọ si Harmona, li Oluwa wi.
3 And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.
4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
5 Ki ẹ si ru ẹbọ ọpẹ́ pẹlu iwukara, ẹ kede, ki ẹ si fi ọrẹ atinuwa lọ̀: nitori bẹ̃li ẹnyin fẹ́, ẹnyin ọmọ Israeli, li Oluwa Ọlọrun wi.
5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
6 Emi pẹlu si ti fun nyin ni mimọ́ ehín ni gbogbo ilu nyin, ati aini onjẹ, ni ibùgbe nyin gbogbo: sibẹ̀ ẹnyin kò yipadà sọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi.
6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
7 Ati pẹlu, emi ti fà ọwọ́ òjo sẹhìn kuro lọdọ nyin, nigbati o kù oṣù mẹta si i fun ikorè; emi si ti mu òjo rọ̀ si ilu kan, emi kò si jẹ ki o rọ̀ si ilu miràn: o rọ̀ si apakan, ibiti kò gbe rọ̀ si si rọ.
7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
8 Bẹ̃ni ilu meji tabi mẹta nrìn lọ si ilu kan, lati mu omi: ṣugbọn kò tẹ́ wọn lọrùn: sibẹ̀ ẹnyin kò ti ipadà sọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi.
8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
9 Mo ti fi irẹ̀danù ati imúwòdú lù nyin: nigbati ọgbà nyin ati ọgbà-àjara nyin, ati igi ọ̀pọtọ́ nyin, ati igi olifi nyin npọ̀ si i, kòkoro jẹ wọn run; sibẹ̀ ẹnyin kò ti ipadà sọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi.
9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
10 Mo ti rán ajàkalẹ-arùn si ãrin nyin, gẹgẹ bi ti Egipti: awọn ọdọmọkunrin nyin li emi si ti fi idà pa, nwọn si ti kó ẹṣin nyin ni igbèkun pẹlu; mo si ti jẹ ki õrùn ibùdo nyin bù soke wá si imú nyin: sibẹ̀ ẹnyin kò ti ipadà sọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi.
10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
11 Mo ti bì ṣubu ninu nyin, bi Ọlọrun ti bì Sodomu on Gomorra ṣubu, ẹnyin si dàbi oguná ti a fà yọ kuro ninu ijoná: sibẹ̀ ẹnyin kò ti ipadà sọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi.
11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
12 Nitorina, bayi li emi o ṣe si ọ, iwọ Israeli: ati nitoriti emi o ṣe eyi si ọ, mura lati pade Ọlọrun rẹ, iwọ Israeli.
12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
13 Nitori sa wò o, ẹniti o dá awọn oke nla, ti o si dá afẹ̃fẹ, ti o si sọ fun enia ohun ti erò inu rẹ̀ jasi, ti o sọ owurọ̀ di òkunkun, ti o si tẹ̀ ibi giga aiye mọlẹ, Oluwa, Ọlọrun awọn ọmọ-ogun li orukọ rẹ̀.
13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
