There are updates, and then there are updates that make you stop and just say Thank you, Lord. This is one of those.

Our missionary on the ground just called in with a wave of good news, and we wanted to bring you into the moment exactly as it happened.

💧 Clean Water, At Last
By God's grace, the Zam community now has a reliable water source: a solar-powered borehole is up and running. No more fetching water from a dirty stream. Jesus stood and cried, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink!

🏫 A Real Floor Under Their Feet
The classroom has been floored. It sounds small on paper, but if you've ever seen a mission classroom before this kind of upgrade, you know the difference it makes for hygiene, dignity, and simply being able to sit and learn without dust and dirt underfoot.

🤝 A New Partnership: YWAM Joins the Field
Six students from Youth With A Mission (YWAM), trained at their base and ready for real field experience, have joined our team for the next six weeks. They arrived and are already settling into the community, getting to know the children and the rhythm of the work before fully rolling up their sleeves. It's a beautiful picture of the Body of Christ linking arms across ministries for one purpose.

👧🏾 Five More Children, One New Beginning
Our missionary personally traveled between several communities to identify children in the greatest need, orphans, children affected by the trauma of terrorism, and children from families in deep poverty. We selected five of these children, and they have now joined the wider children's program.

Here's the part that gave us chills: these five children arrived not just anywhere but in the very hometown connected to this ministry's story. As our missionary put it: "See how God is doing things." Some things simply cannot be planned by human hands.

⛺ A Children's Camp That Broke Every Expectation
Last week, nearly 700 children and 50 volunteers came together for a children's camp, and by every account, it was extraordinary. Calls and testimonies of changed lives are still coming in. For that many young people to show up simply to serve, with everyone giving their absolute best, is nothing short of a miracle.

📈 Real, Measurable Growth
This isn't just spiritual encouragement; it's tangible progress. Compared to when many of these children first arrived, most have grown academically. Many now communicate in English, even if not fluently, and can follow conversations they couldn't before. Teachers on the ground are pouring themselves in fully, and it shows.

🙏 What's Next
The team is now praying and preparing for the next chapter: more activities to engage the children, and welcoming young people for short-term mission experiences in the field. The door is open for more hands, more hearts, and more prayer.

A Word of Thanks
Before signing off, our missionary made a point to thank the prayer warriors, the supporters, and especially those whose faithful giving and prayer sustain this work week after week. "You are a great instrument in the hands of God."

Will you be part of the next update?
Whether through prayer, giving, or going, you have a place in this story.
