Iṣẹ iyanu rẹ kò yé awọn baba wa ni Egipti; nwọn kò ranti ọ̀pọlọpọ ãnu rẹ; ṣugbọn nwọn ṣọ̀tẹ si ọ nibi okun, ani nibi Okun pupa.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
