Iwọ má bẹ̀ru, iwọ Jakobu, ọmọ-ọdọ mi, li Oluwa wi: nitori emi wà pẹlu rẹ; nitori emi o ṣe opin patapata ni gbogbo awọn orilẹ-ède, nibiti emi ti le ọ si: ṣugbọn emi kì o ṣe ọ li opin patapata, ṣugbọn emi o ba ọ wi ni ìwọn; sibẹ emi kì yio jọ̃ rẹ lọwọ li alaijiya.

Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.
