Li owurọ̀ iwọ o wipe, Alẹ iba jẹ́ lẹ! ati li alẹ iwọ o wipe, Ilẹ iba jẹ́ mọ́! nitori ibẹ̀ru àiya rẹ ti iwọ o ma bẹ̀ru, ati nitori iran oju rẹ ti iwọ o ma ri.

In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
