Ogoji paṣan ni ki a nà a, kò gbọdọ lé: nitoripe bi o ba lé, ti o ba si fi paṣan pupọ̀ nà a jù wọnyi lọ, njẹ arakunrin rẹ yio di gigàn li oju rẹ.

Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.
