Zechariah 3

¹ For another vision God show me the High Priest, Joshua, dey stand before the angel of God. And satan stand beside Joshua, he dey ready to bring case against am.

² The angel of God tell the satan say, “God go punish you, satan! May God wey love Jerusalem, condemn you. This man be like stick wey dem commot for fire.”

³ Joshua stand there, dey wear dirty clothes.

⁴ The angel tell him heavenly attendants say, “Remove the dirty clothes wey this man dey wear.” Then him tell Joshua say, “I don take away your sin and give you new clothes make you wear.”

⁵ Him command the attendants make dem put clean turban on top Joshua head. Dem do as he don talk, and dem wear new clothes for am as the angel of God stand there.

⁶ Then the angel tell Joshua say

⁷ Almighty God don talk say: If you obey my laws and perform the duties wey I don give you, then you go dey in charge of my Temple and courts, and I go hear your prayers, just as I hear the prayers of the angel wey dey my presence.

⁸ Hear me, Joshua, you wey be the High Priest; and listen, una wey be priests like him, una wey be sign of good future: I go show una my servant wey dem dey call The Branch!

⁹ I dey put for Joshua front a stone wey get seven face. I go put sign on am, and in one day, I go take away the sin of this land.

¹⁰ When that day come, each of una go invite him neighbor to come enjoy peace and security under una vineyards and fig trees.”
