Zechariah 13

1-

² Almighty God talk say, “When that time come, a fountain go open wey go purify David descendants and people of Jerusalem from their sin and idol worship. At that time I go remove the names of idols from the land, and no one go remember them again. I go destroy anyone wey claim to be prophet and I go take away una desire to dey worship idols.

³ Then if anyone still talk say him dey prophesy, him own father and mother go talk say make dem kill am, because him don claim to speak word of God, but na lie he dey talk. When he prophesy, him own father and mother go stab am to death.

⁴ When that time come, no prophet go dey proud of him vision, or act like prophet, or wear prophet garment to dey deceive people.

⁵ Instead, he go talk say, “I no be prophet. I be farmer – Na farmer I be all my life.’

⁶ Then if anyone ask am, “Wetin be those wound for your chest?’ he go answer say, ‘Na from a friend house I get them.’” Almighty God talk say, “Wake up, sword, and attack the shepherd wey dey work for me! Kill am, and the sheep go scatter. I go attack my people

⁸ and two-thirds of people go die throughout the land.

⁹ And I go test the third wey survive and I go purify them like fire dey purify silver. I go test them like dem dey test gold. Then dem go pray to me, and I go answer them. I go tell dem say dem be my people, and dem go confess say I be their God.”
