Psalms 95

¹ Come, make we praise the LORD! Make we sing for joy to God, wey dey protect us!

² Make we come before him with thanksgiving and sing joyful song of praise.

³ Because the LORD na mighty God, mighty king on top all gods.

⁴ Na him dey rule over the whole earth, from the deepest cave reach the highest mountain.

⁵ Na him dey rule over the sea, wey him make; the land wey he form too.

⁶ Come, and make we bow down worship him; make we knee down before the LORD, wey be our maker!

⁷ Na him be our God; we be the people wey him care for, the sheep wey him dey provide for. Hear wetin him talk today:

⁸ “No get strong-head, as your ancestor do for Meribah, as dem do for desert at Massah that time.

⁹ Na for there dem test me and try me, because dem don see wetin I don do for them

¹⁰ For forty years, I no dey pleased with those people, I talk say, ‘Dem no dey loyal! Dem no gree obey my command.’

¹¹ I con vex and make a promise say: “Una no go ever enter the land wey I for don give una to rest.”
