Psalms 94
1 LORD, you be God wey dey punish; show your anger!
2 Na you be the judge of all; rise and give the proud wetin dem deserve!
3 How long the wicked go dey happy? How long, LORD?
4 How much long criminals go dey proud and brag about their crime?
5 Dem dey destroy your people, LORD; dem dey oppress your own people.
6 Dem dey kill widows and orphans, and kill strangers wey dey live for our land.
7 Dem dey talk say, The LORD no dey see us; the God of Israel no dey notice anything.
8 My people, how come una be stupid fools? When una go ever learn?
9 Na God make our ears shey him no fit hear? Na him make our eyes shey him no fit see?
10 He dey punish nations shey him no go punish them? Na him be teacher of all - him no get knowledge?
11 The LORD know wetin we dey think; him know as wetin we dey reason dey senseless.
12 LORD, those wey you dey instruct and those wey you dey teach your law na happy people.
13 You dey give them rest for trouble days until dem dig pit wey go trap the wicked.
14 God no go abandon him people; him no go leave those wey belong to him.
15 Justice go dey for court again, and all righteous people go support am.
16 Who stand up for me against the wicked? Who dey my side against the evildoer?
17 If to say the LORD no help me, I for don enter land of the dead.
18 I talk say, I dey fall; but O LORD, your love con hold me up.
19 Anytime I dey worry, you dey comfort me and make me happy.
20 You no get anything to do with judges wey don corrupt, wey dey make injustice dey legal,
21 wey dey plan against good people and sentence the innocent to death.
22 But the LORD dey defend me; my God dey protect me.
23 Him go punish them for their wickedness and destroy them for their sin; the LORD our God go destroy them.
